Jagananna Amma Vodi
Brief objective:
• Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced the programme “Amma Vodi” for
providing financial assistance to each mother or recognized guardian in the
absence of mother, who is below poverty line household, irrespective of caste,
creed, religion and region to enable her to educate her child/children from Class
I to XII (Intermediate Education) in all recognized Government, Private Aided and
Private Unaided schools/ Jr. Colleges including Residential Schools/Colleges in
the State from the Academic year 2019-2020.
Brief objective
• Diesel subsidy is hoped to reduce the financial burden on fisherman for their
livelihood and protect them against market fluctuations.
• The owner of a mechanised boat can avail a subsidy up to 3,000 litres a month
while the owner of a motorised boat can avail a subsidy up to 300 litre a month.
The government is offering a subsidy of diesel of Rs 9 per litre.

Brief objective
• Interest-free term loan of Rs 10,000 per year would be extended to the hawkers,
street vendors, and artisans engaged in traditional handicrafts through banks.

Jagananna Vasathi Deevena
Brief objective
• Under Jagananna Vasathi Deewana, the government provides for the hostel and
mess charges of BPL students.
• Industrial Training Institute Courses (ITI) students will receive Rs 10,000 every
year, polytechnic students get Rs15,000, and degree students get Rs 20,000 as
fee reimbursement.
• Full fee reimbursement is provided for SC/ST students irrespective of courses.
• Financial funds will be provided to all of the students who are willing to study and
gain higher education but unable to pay their fees because of the financial burden of
their family. The reimbursement is to be directly credited into the mothers’ account
of the students in four installments annually.

Jagananna Vidya Kanuka Yojana
Brief objective
• The government provides three pairs of uniforms, set of notebooks, text books, a
pair of shoes and two pairs of socks, a belt, school bag to all students from class I to
X in all government schools
• The scheme would benefit nearly 39.70 lakh students across the state and has
been made all arrangements under auspices of Samagra Shishu Abhiyan to provide
7 items to students on the first day of reopening of public schools.
• The government will also provide bus transportation to the students for free of
charge.
• It is also noted that the students can join either of English medium or Telugu
medium. However, it has made Telugu mandatory in every classroom where English
medium is taught.
llla Pattalu
Brief objective
• This is a housing scheme for the poorest of the poor. Also known as YSR Housing
Scheme, YSR Avaas Yojana, and colloquially called as Pedalaku Illu Pattaalu.
The state government has launched ‘Nadu- Nedu’ scheme during November
14 2019 to take up the basic infrastructure works with nine (9) components i.e
i. Toilets with running water, ii.Electrification with fans and tube lights, iii.
Drinking water supply, iv. Furniture for students and staff, v. Painting to
school, vi. Major and minor repairs, vii. Green chalk boards, viii. English labs,
ix. Compound walls in all Government Schools for transformation
of Government schools in the State
3. Budget allocated for the scheme – The extensive scheme will require
huge monetary grants. The state government has already allocated a
whopping budget of Rs. 6000 crore for operating the scheme successfully.
4. Tenure of the scheme – The Chief Minister has stated that the
completion of the education welfare scheme will take at least four years.
7. Laboratory for students – The Chief Minister has also stated that the
government schools will get new and improved laboratories. The labs will
assist the students in gaining practical knowledge, and understand the topics
better.

Scope of coverage
77 Scheduled and Tribal sub plan mandals spread over 7 Integrated Tribal
Development Agency (ITDAs) of Sitampeta, Parvatipuram, Paderu,
Rampachodavaram, Chinturu, K.R.Puram and Srisailam and 8 districts in the
State.
YSR Zero Interest Crop scheme launched on April 20, 2021. Under this
scheme farmers were provided crop loans up to Rs. 1 lakh during the rabi
season (2019-20). This scheme covers the farmers who availed crop loans up
to Rs. 1 lakh and repaid the same within 1 year. CM disbursed the interest
subsidy amount directly in the bank accounts of the 6.27 lakh farmers. Total
amount disbursed is Rs. 128.47 crores. This scheme is launched in the state
for the welfare of the farmers thereby relieving them from the vicious debt
circle.

• If the beneficiary repays the loan on time the government will reimburse
