Description of the event:

Join us for an adrenaline-pumping gaming event centered around the
popular tactical shooter, Valorant! Compete against fellow gamers in
intense matches filled with strategic gameplay and nail-biting action.
Whether you're a seasoned pro or a newcomer looking to showcase
your skills, this event promises excitement and camaraderie for all
participants.

Entry Fees:
Entry into the tournament requires a nominal fee of 200 per team.

Prize Pool:
Prepare to battle it out for a generous prize pool worth Rupees 6,000.
The prize distribution will reward the top 3 performing teams, so
bring your A-game and aim for victory! price distribution.

2nd place: Rs 2,000
3rd place: Rs 1,000

Mode of Conduction and Procedure (Rounds):

The tournament will be conducted in a Swiss Stage Swift-play format,
featuring multiple rounds of gameplay. Teams will compete in head-
to-head matches, with winners advancing to the next stage until the
ultimate champions emerge victorious.
 GAMING EVENT
Matches will be played on designated servers, and specific rules and
regulations will govern each round to ensure fair play and
sportsmanship. (2 wins to qualify for the top 8 teams which will be
playing on campus)
On 9th May there will be an online meeting to clarify and explain the
flow of the event to the participants there will be a Q&A session in the
end. (also feel free to ask your queries in the discord group.)

Judging Criteria:
Participants will be evaluated based on wins (2 wins to advance to the
top 8 teams. Then every match from then on is an eliminator and a
third-place match will be played before the grand finals on campus.)

Bring your own audio devices.
Recommended:
Bring Mouse and Keyboard. Personal Laptops are allowed.

Grounds for Disqualification:

While we encourage friendly competition, any behavior deemed
unsportsmanlike or in violation of the tournament rules will result in
immediate disqualification. This includes but is not limited to
cheating, exploiting glitches, use of unauthorized software,
harassment, or any other actions that compromise the integrity of the
event. Participants are expected to uphold the spirit of fair play and
respect their fellow competitors at all times.

Mode of Conduction and Procedure (Rounds):

The event will kick off with an ice-breaking session where
participants will introduce themselves and express their interests or
skills in the app people can take a look at their profiles and go talk to
them and find the right match. Based on this information, participants
will be matched to form teams. Once teams are formed, they will
embark on the challenge of building a website together. The event will
be divided into rounds, allowing teams time to brainstorm, design,
develop, and present their websites. Each round will be timed and
structured to encourage creativity, collaboration, and problem-
solving.

Judging Criteria:
Teams will be evaluated based on various criteria, including creativity
of the website design, functionality, user experience, technical
execution, teamwork, and presentation quality. Judges will assess how
well teams worked together to overcome challenges and deliver a
polished final product within the given time frame.

It's a race against the clock as the fastest three teams to complete
the given task will claim victory!

Mode of Conduction and Procedure (Rounds):

The event will kick off with an introduction and distribution of the
problem statements.
Teams will then have a designated time to develop their solutions,
including both front-end and back-end components.
Once the solutions are completed, teams must deploy their
websites to the cloud.
The event is time-based, and the first three teams to successfully
deploy their solutions will be declared winners.
