improve, and develop your skills and knowledge. To achieve my philosophy in life it’s
important to set clear goals, create a plan, and take consistent action towards them.

essential to define your own values and beliefs that resonate with you personally.

2. In the foundation of educational philosophy, make an essay on how you develop

ontology.

“Essay on How I Develop Ontology”

To develop ontology in educational philosophy, I need to start by asking fundamental
questions about the nature of reality and existence. For example, I might ask: What is the
nature of knowledge? Is knowledge something that exists independently of human
beings, or is it something that is created by human beings? Is knowledge objective or
subjective? These questions help me to develop a framework for understanding the nature
of knowledge and its relationship to education.
Once I have a basic understanding of the nature of knowledge, I can begin to explore how
learning takes place. We might ask questions such as: What is the nature of learning?
How do we acquire knowledge? Is learning a process of discovery or is it something that
is taught to us? These questions help us to develop a framework for understanding the
nature of learning and its relationship to education.
Finally, we need to consider the role of education in shaping our understanding of reality
and existence. We might ask questions such as: What is the purpose of education? Is
education a means of acquiring knowledge or is it a means of shaping our understanding
of reality? How does education shape our understanding of reality and existence? These
questions help us to develop a framework for understanding the role of education in
shaping our understanding of reality and existence.

4. (Since you’ve already experience teaching and demonstrating)

Define what is teaching to you, and how and why you teach as you do?
-I cannot yet experience teaching and demonstrating since I will earning units in
education.
For me, Teaching is the act of imparting knowledge, skills, and information to others in a
structured and organized manner. It involves guiding and facilitating the learning process,
helping students understand and apply concepts, and fostering critical thinking and
problem-solving skills. Teaching also involves creating a supportive and engaging
learning environment, adapting instructional methods to meet the needs of diverse
learners, and providing feedback and assessment to monitor student progress. Ultimately,
teaching is about empowering individuals to reach their full potential and achieve their
academic and personal goals.

5. What are the three main trends in the philosophy of education?

The three main trends in the philosophy of education are:
1.Essentialism-emphasizes the importance of teaching students a core set of knowledge
and skills that are essential for their development and success. It focuses on traditional
subjects such as mathematics, science, literature, and history, and aims to transmit
cultural values and knowledge to the younger generation.
2.Progressivism-emphasizes the importance of active learning, critical thinking, and
problem-solving skills. It promotes student-centered approaches, such as experiential
learning, project-based learning, and collaborative learning. Progressivism aims to
prepare students for real-life situations and encourages them to be active participants in
their own education.
3.Constructivism-emphasizes the idea that knowledge is constructed by individuals
through their own experiences and interactions with the world. It emphasizes the
importance of hands-on learning, inquiry-based approaches, and the construction of
meaning by students. Constructivism encourages students to actively engage in the
learning process and construct their own understanding of concepts.

6. What does Gardner mean by intelligence?

-Howard Gardner, a psychologist and professor at Harvard University, proposed the
theory of multiple intelligences. According to Gardner, intelligence is not a single, fixed
entity, but rather a combination of different abilities and skills that individuals possess.
He identified eight different types of intelligences, including linguistic, logical-
mathematical, spatial, musical, bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and
naturalistic intelligences. Gardner’s theory suggests that individuals may excel in one or
more of these areas, and that intelligence should be understood and assessed in a broader
and more diverse way than traditional measures such as IQ tests.
