Student Learning Outcomes:


1. Recognizing, understanding, and producing language for familiar topics:
Students are prompted to discuss topics such as "home life" and "preferences," which are familiar to
them and relate to their daily experiences.By speaking about these topics, students reinforce their ability to
recognize, understand, and produce language used in everyday situations.

2. Performing basic communication tasks:


The assignment requires students to perform various communication tasks such as requesting
information, expressing agreement and disagreement, and making suggestions.These tasks are fundamental
for e ective communication and are essential for navigating everyday interactions.

For your speaking assignment, in the class, you’ll talk about 'Describing Your Home.' Write down notes rst, then
have a conversation with your partner. Be clear when speaking and listen carefully, showing support. Submit your
notes before the conversation begins.

Instructions:

1. Topic: Your topic for the conversation will be "Describing Your Home."
2. Prepare: Before the conversation, write down notes about your home. Use the words and sentences you
learned in class.
3. Speak: Talk with your partner about your home. Use your notes to help you speak clearly and con dently.
4. Listen: Pay attention to what your partner says. Respond politely and show you're interested.
5. Submit: Before you talk, give your notes to your teacher. They'll help you get ready.
