Instructions to Students:-

1. Students are required to follow the project format provided.


2. No. of Report copies
a. If Team size 1- Two (2) Report copies
b. If Team size 2-Three (3) Report copies
NOTE: Two copies have to submit to college. Only those copies shall have “Internal
Examiner” and “External Examiner” in the certificate.
3. The Page sequence is as follows
a. Title Page
b. Acknowledgement (You may write your own)
c. Contents
d. Reports Chapters
4. Font to be used in the report is TIMES NEW ROMAN.
5. Text Size 12 for contents and 14 with Bold for headings.
6. Normal Page Layout used in MS-Word.
7. For each chapter follow the following guidelines:
a. Every chapter should start from new page.
b. The chapter title should be 14 with Bold with center alignment.
c. Headings should be 12 bold with left alignment.
d. Text should be size 12 with justified alignment and 1.5 line spacing.
e. Paragraph spacing should be 0 points (Before and After)
f. Leave one line space after every paragraph.
8. Do not give definitions of terms such as feasibility study, testing etc. Explain these with
reference to your project. Give appropriate labels and number to figures, charts and tables
9. Report cover color codes:
a. MCA-I(Semester-II): Light Yellow
b. MCA-II(Semester-IV): Light Blue
10. Students should get their reports verified in soft copy to their guide’s satisfaction before
binding. Students may refer reports available in library archives.
11. A CD consisting of the executable file(s) of the complete project and Project
Documentation should be carried while appearing for the viva-voce along with the
project report.
