    Mr. David J. Lobo

    David J. Lobo started his first business in 1969

    Hybrid Coconut Seedling

    The Deejay Sampoorna® hybrid is the result of more


    than 25 years of research. It’s a general purpose hybrid
    coconut seedling. It yields very early, flowering from 3rd
    year, conservatively producing 250 mature nuts per
    palm per year. When seedlings nuts are harvested at 6.5
    Deejay’s Breeding Farm
    to 7 months of age, yields can increase by 30%.
    The Sampoorna hybrid has created a shift in
    farmer incomes, making the large land owner very
    wealthy and even taking the small land owner [less than
    3 acres] from poverty to a better quality of life. 10

    month, keeping the money lender away and thus giving
    financial security.
