TESTIMONIALS
OF RECENT INTERNSHIPS

Student testimonials
Robert Cooper
Master of Music in Music, Production, Technology,
and Innovation
Virtue and Vice Studio

Overall, my internship has been incredible. I have been

learning from two Grammy–nominated recording
engineers and have gone way beyond the skills I acquired
from being at Berklee. I owe so much to Berklee for
getting me in touch with Virtue and Vice Studio and
finalizing the plans for this internship. I would not have
done things any differently if I had to go back again, and I
look forward to the opportunities ahead that have been
made possible by interning here.

Bernardo Castro
Master of Music in Scoring for Film, Television, and
Video Games
Trafalgar 13

By doing this internship, I managed to get involved fully

in a creative environment that motivated and inspired me
daily and that—more importantly—led to a job offer.

Felipe Saalfeld
Master of Arts in Global Entertainment and
Music Business
Live Nation

I had three overall goals for this experience: 1)

incorporate music business in my life (a career-twist as an
engineer) 2) get an overall understanding of how the
live-entertainment business model works, and 3)
experience how the biggest worldwide productions
occur. All three have been successfully fulfilled
throughout this internship.
Company testimonials
Patrick ONeil
Native Instruments
Berklee has a tradition of raising excellent
talent in the music technology field. Not
only are students taught the fundamentals
of music, they are instilled with a passion for
exploring the technology and future of
music. These are qualities that Native
Instruments greatly value.

Robert Grima Guallart

Live Nation
We always like people with a music
background and, of course, Berklee is the
best reference to have.

L. Henry Sarmiento II
Sonic Vista Studios
Cinnamon was the best intern I have seen in
20+ years.

Jose Mellado
BMG Chrysalis
As a Berklee alumni myself, I have great
respect for the institution and love
everything they're doing to prepare the
industry leaders of the future.

GIG TESTIMONIALS

Student testimonials
George Lacson
Master of Music in Music Production,
Technology, and Innovation
The International Career Center (ICC) has
provided some of the most amazing
performance opportunities for my band,
The George Lacson Project. Since my first
semester in the fall of 2014, I've played
modern spaces—such as a 650-seat theater
in the heart of Valencia—all the way to an
outdoor jazz festival on the cliffs of the
Mediterranean. They have given me an
experience I could not have acquired by
myself, and exposed me to a new audience,
[which] is the foundation for a fruitful music
career in Europe. A million thanks to Max,
Stine, Maria, and the ICC!

Freddy Fuego
Master of Music in Scoring for Film,
Television, and Video Games
The performance opportunities offered to
me by the ICC have not only boosted my
career on an international scale, but have
introduced me to great people and
musicians that will serve as friends and
professional contacts for years to come.
Venue testimonials
Eduard Balaguer
Fringe Festival
The musicians from Berklee demonstrated
talent, personality, musicality, elegance,
character, and great composure—both
onstage and off-stage—contributing
towards an atmosphere of creativity,
passion, and performance, and also towards
an atmosphere of fraternity, freshness, and
dynamism.

Germán Inostroza
Hard Rock Cafe
Having the possibility to collaborate with
students from Berklee on our stage and
enjoying a live concert together has created
a closer relationship between the two
entities that will allow us to continue
supporting great musicians and artists in
their artistic path.
OTHER WAYS TO GET INVOLVED WITH
THE BERKLEE COMMUNITY
The ICC can arrange tailored recruiting events on campus to provide
students with insights into specific music specializations, careers, or
bespoked companies. These events enable you to promote your brand
on campus, as well as meet Berklee students.

Company information sessions

The best way to provide a direct glimpse into your company’s
activities, mission, and future expansion plans is to hold company
information sessions. During information sessions, you can
communicate directly with students, allowing you to market and brand
your company to future Berklee graduates.

Clinics
These can take the form of discussions with graduate degree students
about the music industry, career options, or specialized jobs. The ICC
invites members of the industry to share their professional
experiences.

Allow Berklee’s students to test your emerging technology

If you are developing new music technologies and need someone to
test it, Berklee graduate students are the best avenue for obtaining
excellent feedback for market suitability.
