Comments and Conclusions: According to IS:383-1970 the above sand after 2stage of Jaw
crushing falls under “Zone III grade”

Comments and Conclusions:
SPECIFIC GRAVITY: According to IS:2386 Part-3 the specific gravity of Fine Aggregate is
2.50 – 3.0. Therefore the Average of specific gravity of Brick Aggregate is 2.45. we know
that the aggregate is of Brick so the Specific Gravity is not attained as per Indian
Standards.Hence the value is coloser to IS:2386 Part-3 It is negligible.

WATER ABSOPTION: According to IS:1077-1992 clause 7.2, Bricks after immersion in

water for 24hours, Water Absorption shall not be more than 15% by weight. Therefore, we
got the water absorption as 10.45%. It is satisfactory meeting the Indian Standard Code.

Comments and Conclusions: According to IS 2250:1981 the float percentage should be of

110% and the Dia of the float should be of 21cm or 210mm. According to Indian Standards
we performed Float Table Test and the Water/Cement ratio determined is 0.939%
