    Niagara Falls were formed about 10,000 years ago, by the


    same geologist forces that created the Great Lakes and the
    Niagara River. The area was carved by a continental ice sheet,
    which retreated at the end of the last ice age

    Niagara Falls is one of North America’s most iconic brilliant ,


    beloved for its beauty and uniqueness. The name refers to
    three individual waterfalls. They are located on the Niagara
    River, and lie on the border between Ontario, Canada and the
    American state of New York.
