    GTCC LADIES GOLF LEAGUE

    What’s New In 2024


    What’s new in 2024? Lots! Here is a summary of new and exciting changes for 2024.

    Registration & Fees


    • Register and pay League and greens fees online at the GTCC website before May 2, 2024;
    credit/debit only.
    • Or pay fees to the Pro Shop at the Sign Up Social on April 25, 2024; credit/debit, cash, or check
    made payable to GTCC.
    • Get help with Fringe Golfers at the Sign Up Social on April 25, 2024

    Orientation for New Golfers


    • Quickly learn the league rules and get on the right track for the season.
    • New golfers should play their first round of golf with at least one seasoned member.
    • We need seasoned AM and PM members to offer to play with new golfers.
    • Want to volunteer as a “Mentor Member?” Sign Up Here.

    Sign-In Sheet
    • Be sure to check in at the Pro Shop each week before you play.
    • Check in for AM or PM group.

    Scoring
    • No more Score Entry sheets
    • Scorecard
    o Use one scorecard only to record total strokes for each hole, for each golfer.
    o You can track putts per hole to facilitate adding up for the total, but total putts is the
    only thing needed by the Scorekeeper.
    o No more “x” for putts. If you reach the 10-stroke limit without sinking your putt,
    enter a zero for total putts, and you can stop tracking putts.
    • Fringe Golfers
    o Fringe Golfers is a free app for your phone that we will use to collect scores.
    o Select the “2024 Scores” season.
    o Enter your total strokes for each hole into Fringe Golfers.
    o Keep a running tally of your putts in total putts. This will test your arithmetic skills
    .
    o If you reach the 10-stroke limit without sinking your putt, enter a zero for total putts
    as your final tally.
    o Be sure to Save your Fringe Golfers scorecard when you are done with the round.
    • Check & Attest
    o Sum the strokes and putts on the scorecard.
    o Compare scores on scorecard to Fringe Golfers scores.
    o Team scorekeeper and person attesting the scores must sign and date the
    scorecard.
    o Put scorecard into our box in the Pro Shop.
    • Banked scores
    o One scorecard only
    o Enter scores into Fringe Golfers using the “2024 Banked Scores” season for the
    date that you played the Banked round.

    League Reports
    • Weekly reports will be posted to our website only; they will no longer be emailed.
    • You will be notified via email when the reports are available, with a link to the website.

    Tee Times
    • AM golfers tee-off between 8:30 and 9:30 am
    • PM golfers tee-off between 4:45 and 6:00 pm.

    Prize Payout
    • Prizes will be paid at the end of the season only; they will no longer be paid weekly.
    • Prizes will be tracked and reported weekly as part of the league reports.
