Business versus Technology

1.1 Introduction – The Business Need

The world is changing rapidly and so is technology. Today, the businesses are transforming.
Business is no longer restricted to manufacture and sale rather it has changed leaps and bounds.
Business nowadays means identify the pain areas, bottle necks of the society and generate more
and more ideas to bridge the gaps, resolve the pain areas and commercialize the ideas to create a
value chain.

1.2 Business and Technology – hand in hand

Today, computers, software systems and niche technologies has emerged as the biggest enabler
to business processes. Business needs and requirements drives evolution of technology. Business
drives technology and technology augments business or in simple words we can say they are
incomplete without each other.

This hypothesis can be simplified with a simple example. If we peep through the history 20 years
back, there was no concept of Data Analytics, Machine Learning, big data, or any analytical
tools like SAS, Tableu or Python. At the same time the banks, telecom companies, the FMCG
industry were growing and widening their reach to serve people and create their own value chain.
Thus, a desire to gain more insights on their needs, demands, consumer behavior, traits arise
which would fuel the industry’s desire to expand their roots as well as serve the society.

And to consummate this, research was carried out simultaneously on the methods and tools that
would read vast and enormous data on human population which would give them a meaningful
insight into buying behavior, trends and patterns and supplement the industry leaders to take
critical business decisions

tablets
a or tablet computer : a mobile computing device that has a flat, rectangular form like that of a
magazine or pad of paper, that is usually controlled by means of a touch screen, and that is
typically used for accessing the Internet, watching videos, playing games, reading electronic
books, etc.

benefit of internet and network

benefit of internet
Benefits of the Internet include: Access to endless information, knowledge and education. An increased
ability to communicate, connect and share. The ability to work from home, collaborate and access a
global workforce.
benefit of network
Networking is a great opportunity to exchange best practice knowledge, learn about the business
techniques of your peers and stay abreast of the latest industry developments. A wide network of
informed, interconnected contacts means broader access to new and valuable information.

4 .what difference between business computer and personal computer ?

Faster and More Powerful When it comes to things like processing power and memory, you'll
find that business PCs have more robust specifications. They're designed to have the ability to
run more powerful applications than consumer PCs, which could be anything from Adobe
Illustrator to CAD design software.
Business computers are more durable

High-quality business computers are built to last; many are water and dust resistant and well-
engineered to withstand a few drops. Home computers are not designed to work this way or to be used
40 hours a week for years

what similar between internet and network ? what is their

difference ?
A network is a collection of computer systems and devices that are linked together utilizing LAN, WAN,
CAN, or HAN. The internet is a global system that connects various sorts of electric devices worldwide. It
requires fewer hardware devices. Various hardware devices are required.

The similarities between the 2 are laid down in the commonly accepted (or defined)
specifications of the individual terms.

The Internet is a network of datacom networks interconnected and mostly using the TCP/IP or
UDP (and a few other) protocols. (interconnects can also use other protocols like DVB where the
TCP/IP / udp et all traffic may be “envelloped” in DVB, but also other types of networks can
perform similar “transport services” for TCP/IP for the lack of a better phrase; (I am not a native
English speaker))

So, the Internet is in fact a network.

Networks however can have a much broader meaning, examples: it could be a voice network, a
computer network (like Like IBM3270, token ring etc), a user comunity, a vendor community,
the former “Hansa cities” in Europe and even a community like the “free masons” may be
considered to be a network depending on how “loose” you allow the the definition to be. Bottom
line is that it depends on the definition and exactly where you put your boundaries.

From a mathematical perpective, the Internet is a subset or element of the larger “Networks”
definition.
6. Write the procedure of selection of job ?

The recruitment and selection process involves six main steps: creating a job description,
advertising the role, screening candidates, conducting interviews, carrying out tests and
assessments and selecting the successful candidate.

7 Write the output and input device of computer ?

Mouse, Keyboards etc., are input device examples. Monitors, Printers etc., are examples of
output devices.

8 What is computer and its component ?

A computer is a machine that can be programmed to carry out sequences of arithmetic or logical
operations (computation) automatically. Modern digital electronic computers can perform generic sets
of operations known as programs. These programs enable computers to perform a wide range of tasks.
Definitions. A computer system consists of two major elements: hardware and software. Computer
hardware is the collection of all the parts you can physically touch. Computer software, on the other
hand, is not something you can touch. Software is a set of instructions for a computer to perform
specific operations.

9 what is computer hardware ?

Computer hardware includes the physical parts of a computer, such as the case, central processing unit
(CPU), random access memory (RAM), monitor, mouse, keyboard, computer data storage, graphics card,
sound card, speakers and motherboard.

10 What is internet ?
The Internet is a global network of billions of computers and other electronic devices. With the
Internet, it's possible to access almost any information, communicate with anyone else in the world, and
do much more.
