Abstract

The main objective of developingHospital


this Management System is to provide
efficient management services in hospital. The previous hospital system was full of draw backs
like writing patients information on the paper so sometimes they can loss their information.
This developed project I fully automated and any user who doesn’t know about computer can
operate it easily.
This hospital management system consist of patient’s personal information, patients disease
information. It consist information about various objectives of hospital management system.
The future scope of this project and current use of this project in hospital management. This
makes managing more easier than earlier.
Introduction

 Hospital are providing best medical facilities to people suffer from various ailments, which may be due to
changes in climatic conditions, increase work load, emotional trauma stress, etc.
 It is necessary for the hospital to keep track of it’s day to day activities and record of the patients, doctors
and staff members.
 But keeping the track of all activities and their records on paper is very cumbersome and error prone.
 Thus we have developed an automated version of the manual
i. “Hospital
system Management System”
.
 The main aim of the project is provide a paperless
upto90%.e The system also provides excellent
hospital
security of data at every level of user system interaction and also provides robust reliable storage and
backup facilities.
Problem Statement

 HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM PROBLEM STATEMENT :


The purpose of the entitled as HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is to computerized the front Office
Management of Hospital to develop software which is user friendly, fast, simple and cost efficient. The main
function of the system is to register and store patient details and doctor details. This function of Hospital
Management Information System deals with registering the new Patient by giving unique identification number
to patient. The software is secured by username and password, accessed by administrator or receptionist of the
hospital.
1. This module is used to create account to the Hospital Management system.
Create Account:
2. Patient:This module is for adding, querying, editing and deleting patient details in the database.
3. Doctor:This module is used to retrieve doctor details from the database and also for adding new doctor
details in the database.
4. This module is to change desired username and password by the administrator.

 Available Staff:For staff information.
 Check Appointments:
To get information about Appointment.
 New Appointment:To fix new Appointment.
 A Patients ID is assigned for new patients.
Search for your account:
 Verify User:For an existing patients, “PATIENT ID” is verified to check for the validity of the account.
 Patient Help: For patient Help.
 Bed Entry:A link which takes care of how beds are assigned and also change of rooms occur.
 Exit: To end access to a hospital page.
Objectives

 Reduce hospital operating costs


 Provide MIS (Management Information System) report on demand to management for better decision making
 Better co
-ordination among the different departments
 Provide top management a single point of control
 It describes a development method that is linear and sequential.
 It has distinct goals for each phase of development.
 In this model once, a phase of development is completed, there is no turning back, the development proceeds to
the next phase.
 The advantage of this model is that it allows for departmentalization and managerial control.
System Requirements

Hardware Requirements:
 A device(computer/laptop).
 Memory(RAM):Minimum 2GB RAM.
 Processor : Minimum 1GHZ;Recommended 2GHZ or more.
 Hard Disk -40GB; Recommended 64 GB or more.
Software Requirements:
 Visual Studio Code or Turbo C++.
 Operating system - Windows.
Conclusion

 The software takes care of all the requirements of an average hospital and is capable to provide easy
and effective storage of information related to patients that come to the hospital.
 Today hospital are better known for their speciality services. New concepts have also been introduced
in the management of hospitals, like helping services and transfer of specialized Doctor’s and
therapeutic services from
-patient
in and out-patient areas.
 Modern equipment and facilities call for a specific hospital design and plan. Special facilities require
professional and managerial skills to optimize the use of available resources.
 Hospital administrators have realized now the need for scientific hospital administration in their
hospitals.
