    c. Differentiate different forms of Expressionism Arts

    A. PREPARATORY ACTIVITY
    a.Preliminary Activities (Prayer,
    Greetings, Checking of attendance,

    B. LESSON PROPER

    So for today’s lesson, we will talk about


    the Expressionism Art Style.

    This art style is more emotional force


    rather than with realistic or natural images
    And worked with imagination and feelings,
    rather than with what the eyes saw in the
    physical world.

    So these are the following examples of (Students listen)


    Expressionism
    Neoprimitivism incorporated elements from
    the native arts of the South Sea Islanders
    and the wood carvings of African tribes

    Fauvism or les fauves (“wild beasts”).


    Uses bold, vibrant colors and visual
    distortions.

    (Students listen)

    Dadaism came from Dada (“child


    term”/”non-style that uses Dream
    fantasies, memory images, and visual
    tricks and surprises. This was also used as
    a protest to the horrors/suffering from
    World War I.
    (Students listen)

    Surrealism or Super-realism. Depicted an


    illogical, subconscious dream world
    beyond the logical, conscious, physical
    one

    (Students listen)

    Social Realism expressed the artist’s role


    in social reform. And protest against the
    injustices, inequalities, immorality, and
    ugliness of the human condition.

    C. APPLICATION
    So for the next activity, as the class is divided into four groups, the groups should
    download a picture for each expressionism art style and look for a way to imitate the
    painting

    A. Write in your notebook two (2) forms of Abstractionism Art Style
