1.1.1 PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION

An unique identification number is attributed to each of these lifting platforms. It is

positioned on the platform console and takes the form of a three letter prefix followed
by four numbers. The identification number is also placed on the platform frame,
behind the platform cover panels.

1.2 STANDARDS
The Aritco 7000 platform lift comply with the requirements according to the
Machinery Directive. For more specific details see declaration of conformity and
certificates.

6 7000 500 en 04
2. SAFETY CHECK
When the installation is completed, it must be checked according to the safety
checklist.

1. Carry out safety check list and fill in the checked items.
2. Carry out the testing of electrical installation and fill in the checked items.
3. Confirm by a signature that above tests are done without deviations on the
last page in this document.
4. Send this document signed to Aritco Lift AB.
5. When you have received the declaration of conformity signed by Aritco Lift AB,
place the CE marking label on the platform, see ILLUSTRATION 1.

2.1 CE MARKING LABEL

After the declaration of conformity has been signed and has returned from Aritco,
attach the CE-marking label, below the control panel according to illustration below

ILLUSTRATION 1

2.2 CONTROL OF DRIVE NUT GAP
Please follow the instruction in order to control the drive nut gap:
The wear on the nut is checked with the gauge provided. The gauge is placed on the
lower part of the lifting yoke. The gauge is accessible through the inspection lid on the
platform.
The gauge must be set before it is used. Check that the value corresponds to the value
on the label, see ILLUSTRATION 2
-Long side of the gauge = the value on the label
-Short side of the gauge = the value on the label minus 2 mm

• Test the gauge on the lowest floor. If the lower cladding panels are
fitted, then remove them first.
• Switch off the mains isolator.
• Remove the cover panels on the platform.
• Push down the long side of the gauge in the opening. When the lift is
completely new the full length of the gauge (long side), shall go down
completely to the nut on the gauge (long side).
• Instead of using the gauge the distance can be checked by using a
vernier calliper. The correct dimension for a new lift is shown on the
label on the lifting yoke above the nut.
