•players: 1 deck of cards (plus 2 jokers) per player, sticks with rummy hands
written as on next page
• 2’s and jokers are wild, aces can be high or low
• Deal 15 cards per person
• Each player picks a stick; if they pull a “Free” stick, they select another to work
towards for this round

Sticks are kept hidden from other players until they have been won
Players may choose a card from the deck or the top card from the discard pile;
you must pick up and discard a card every turn (including when you win – you
must still have a card to discard)
• You need only 1 natural card to make a run or set
• You cannot lay anything down until you can put down your complete stick-hand,
after that you may add to other players hands and make regular rummy hands
• You can only add to what is already down; you cannot trade cards (or sticks) at
