● The Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant consists of 4 units,


with a total installed capacity of 5600MW.

● Unit 1 and Unit 2 have commenced commercial


operations in April 2021 and March 2022 respectively.

● The 3rd unit of Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant was


synchronized to the grid successfully in September 2022,
further enhancing energy security and adding over a
gigawatt of clean electricity capacity to the UAE grid.

● As per end of 2022, 1.3GW of modules are installed, and over
