1.INTRODUCTION ABOUT THE TRAINING

1.1 TRAINING-MEANING

Training is concerned with the imparting developing specific skills for


a particular purpose. It is concerned with developing a particular skill to a desired
standard by instruction and practice. Training is the process of learning a sequence of
programmed behaviour. It is the act of increasing the knowledge and skill of an
employee for doing a particular job.

1.2 TRAINING-DEFINITION

According to S. Beach has defined training as, “the organisation


procedure by which learn knowledge and skill for definite purpose”.

1.3 TYPES OF TRAINING

 Institutional training
 On-the job training

INSTITUTIONAL TRAINING

Institutional training is the process by which the aptitude, skill and


abilities of the student business activities are increased. Institutional training is
arranged to understand the real business environment as well as gain particular
knowledge about various business function.

ON-THE JOB TRAINING

On-the job training is the most common form of training for any
person in the organization in which trainee learns under the guidance and supervision
of the supervisor or an instructor. The basic theme of on- job training is “To learn by
doing itself”. The trainee learns while training is engaged in doing a job.

1.4 OBJECTIVES OF TRAINING
The objectives of the training are as follows

 To increase job satisfaction and moral among employee.


 To achieve practical knowledge apart from academics.
 To reduce the number of accidents by providing safety training to the
workers.
 To know the overall performance of the company.
 To know the various welfare measures provided to their employees.
 To increase innovation in strategies and product.
 To study challenges associated with the growth of the industry.
 To increase efficiency in processes, resulting in financial gain.
 To know the organisation structure.

1.5 ADVANTAGES OF THE JOB TRAINING

 On the job training is an inexpensive professional development.


 On the job training provides a favourable environment for quick learning.
 Contribution to company growth
 This way they gain confidence in their work through this way.
 Everyone know each other.
 This leads them to being further dynamic and proficient.
 The trainer directs them how to perform the task appropriately and gives
feedback immediately by pointing out any errors.
 Furthermore, on the job training makes sure that employee is actually
working as it learning.
 An inclination towards employees within their own environment can
clearly.

1.6 NEED OF THE TRAINING

The training program is designed with a view to enable the students to


have an exposure on the practical field. Madurai Kamaraj University in corporate on
the job training as a component of Commerce with Computer Application degree
course for a period of 10 days. It helps to increase the self confidence of the students.

1.7 SCOPE OF TRAINING


The scope of training depends upon the categories of employee to be
trained. As we all know that training is a continuous process and not only needed
for newly selected personal at all levels of the organisation.

1.8 PERIOD OF TRAINING


I did my job training in N P M BAKERY & SWEETS which is located
near VSR mahal, Thirumangalam, Madurai. I have undergone training from
08.12.2022 to 19.12.2022.

The primary objective of purchase department is to obtain the right
materials, in the right quality at time at price. A purchasing department stores raw
materials for operational department they are responsible to the operations and in
management of finished goods, warehouse is responsible to function of this
department are:

1.INFORMATION
It provides information to all concerned regarding new products and
services.
2.SUPPLIER
The approval of a product and its price is normally given by the
department foe whom the product is intended, but this department must ensure that the
supplier is stable and reliable.
3.PRICE
While the price, quality and quantity of materials are usually specified
by the operation department, the purchase must be at the most advantageous terms for
the company.
4.VERIFICATION
A well managed business, check the prices, qualities, colors etc… of
delivered materials as specified in the purchase order.
5.PURCHASE ORDER
This is means by which the company places orders with suppliers and it
is an important contractual document which binds the company to considerable
expenditure.

The production department is concerned with operation and controlling

3.3 SALES DEPARTMENT
A sales department is responsible for selling products or services for a
company. The department comprises a sales team that works together to make sales,
increase profitability and build and maintain relationships with customers to
encourage repeat purchase and brand loyalty.

4.FINDINGS AND SUGGESTION


4.1 FINDINGS
 There is poor inter personal co-ordinate.
 There is poor communication between employer and employee.
 Inadequate water facility.
 Lack of transport facility.
 Credits are allowed to buyer.
 Working timing is convenient for the workers.
 There is no incentive issue facility.
 The management didn’t provide safety devices the workers.

4.2 SUGGESTIONS
 The company may take stop to increase the facilities.
 Well qualified staff members are appointed.
 The company should be take care safety measures.
 Proper maintenance of the machines of machines leads to the of
repair.

5.CONCLUSTION
The job training is a factory is more important to the student of the
B.COM(CA) and will be given a good future to then and studying about the
processing of manufacture, purchase, sales and administration is very much useful to
start a factory. By this training I have well known about environment structure of the
company and a product is manufacture with raw material. Hence is very much useful
to me.
