1. All beauty salons must be well-lighted and well-ventilated and must be in good
sanitary condition.
2. The salon premises must be free from rodents, vermin, flies or other similar
insects.

clean.

1. Put an adequate amount of antibacterial liquid soap into the basin with hot
water.
2. Soak the tools/ implements in hot, soapy water solution to remove any debris
and oil residue for 5 minutes and rinse them thoroughly with clean tap water.
3. Place the tools/implements in a 70% to 90% alcohol solution for 20 minutes.
4. Remove the tools/implements from solution, wipe them dry, and place them
into a clean tray.
