Man-made Natural
• Living things are things that have life. Examples: Humans, animals, plants etc.
• Non-living things have not been alive. Example: Sun, water, air, soil etc.
• Natural Non-living things are things that are found in nature. Example: Sun, Moon,

Seasons
Summer
• The summer season is very hot.
• Everyone takes a vacation during the summer season.
• During summer, we wear cotton clothes so that sweat can go away quickly.
Winter
• The winter season is accompanied by a cold atmosphere.
• In some areas, we can see snow.
• In winter, we wear thick wool clothes to keep us warm.
• Jeans, gloves, sweater, knit tops, and winter boots are commonly used during rainy
season.
Rainy
• The rainy season is called the Monsoon season.
• Rainy season comes after the summer season and it is the time when we get most of
the rainfall.
• The sky is generally cloudy and the atmosphere will be humid.
• Rain coats, leather jackets, umbrellas and water-resistant boots are commonly used
during rainy season.
Pollution
Pollution is anything that makes the Earth unhealthy and dirty.
Air Pollution
• Air pollution happens when the air is dirty.
• Living organisms suffer breathing difficulties and many other diseases due to air
pollution.
• Burning petrol, coal, wood, car exhaust etc. contribute to air pollution.
Water Pollution
• Water happens when dirty particles or substances are mixed with water bodies.
• Oil, plastics, garbage etc. causes water pollution.
Noise Pollution
• Sounds that last too long and is too loud can cause noise pollution.
• Honking, vehicles, various house gadgets, aeroplanes etc. cause noise pollution.
• Noise pollution can affect the hearing ability, sleep pattern, anxiety etc.
• Avoid open fires, coal, petrol and other practices to reduce air pollution.
• Use public transportation and avoid using private transportation to reduce air
pollution.

Birds

Land Vehicle
