Report on Request for Exemption from Model Code of Conduct (MCC)

The Planning & Development Department has been overseeing the

completion of 2000 Panchayat Sarkar Bhavan (PSB) projects since the administrative
approval were accorded in the Year 2023. Funds were also allocated for PSB. These
projects hold immense significance for the welfare of the community they serve.
However, the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) has impeded their
progress, raising concerns about potential delays, particularly as the rainy season
approaches.
The ongoing projects are crucial for community welfare, serving as vital
infrastructure for various local services and activities. However, the enforcement of
the MCC has jeopardized their progress, risking significant delays and hindering local
development efforts. Delays in project completion not only escalate costs but also
lead to decreased productivity and missed opportunities for local development and
employment.
Incomplete projects hinder the efficient delivery of services, affecting the
productivity of local administrative functions. Exemption from the MCC is imperative
for the timely completion of PSB projects and the well-being of the community.
Timely completion is essential to meet administrative goals effectively and fulfill our
commitment to serving the community.
