1. The students are expected to maintain self discipline and participate in academic and
extra-curricular activities so as to prove that they are responsible and disciplined global
citizens. This can be demonstrated by way of observing self discipline, self
participation in extra-curricular activities and independently organising of functions and
events of academic nature. This is aimed at making our students self reliant and
responsible citizens.
3. The students are required to maintain proper decorum and discipline as they are expected
to be disciplined professional in their future life.
4. The students are expected to conduct themselves honorably and respectfully towards
Faculty members, Administrative Staff, Fellow Students and the Guests.
5. STCL will not be liable for any financial transaction by the student with any other student
and/or other person.
6. Irregularities, if any, breach of rules and discipline are to be brought to the notice of the
Dean/Principal.
8. The students are required to be present in the lecture room before scheduled time of the
session/period.
9. The students are not allowed to leave any lecture-session midway before the end of the
session or any other academic activity.
10. The students are required to be punctual & regular in their classes. Attendance in
Seminars/Workshops is compulsory.
12. Students are expected to submit all assignments files/records as per instructions given
from time to time by the concerned subject teacher.

13. No student should use mobile phone during class/ lecture time.
14. Celebration of Festivals of joy i.e. Holi, Deepawali, Eid, X-Mas, etc is permissible only in
the open area in the college with decency and not allowed inside the class rooms and
other halls.
15. College authorities will not be responsible for any theft/loss/damage to vehicles parked in
and around the college campus.
16. In case a student is facing any problem such as ragging, eve teasing, black mailing or
harassment, he/she must immediately report the same to the Dean/Principal.
17. Complaint Box may be used by students for seeking redressal of their grievances which
will be commanded and seriously dealt with by the Internal Complaint Committee.

Rules for Using the Library
2. A student can borrow only two books at a time for a period of two weeks.
3. A faculty member can borrow maximum four books at a time for a period of three
months. If books are required beyond three months, these can be re-issued.
4. Books will be issued to students, during library hours. No book will be issued or
returned during teaching hours.
6. Reference books, current periodicals and newspapers will not be issued. These can
be consulted or read only in the library.
7. After reading, the reference books, periodicals and news-papers are kept back in
their respective places.
8. If the books are not returned within the specified time, it will be viewed seriously
and a fine of Rs.1/- per day will be charged as per rules.
9. The Librarian may call for a book at any time, even if the normal period of issue
has not expired.
10. In case a book is misused, wrongly handled or lost, the person concerned will have
to replace the book or pay the current market price of the book.
11. The members should take good care of library furnishings and equipments. Make
sure that the library looks as good when you leave as it did when you came in.
13. Library computers are for academic purposes only. Do not tamper with the
computer settings and follow the internet safety guidelines.
14. A “No Dues Certificate” by each student is to be obtained from the librarian for
his/her transfer/ withdrawal from the college.
15. Strict decorum and ethical environment shall always be maintained in the library.

16. If any dispute regarding books arises, the decision of the Dean/Principal shall be
final.

Annual Assessment Index and Awards
Session: 2023-24
An annual award will be given to the best 3 students from each batch of BA.LL.B and
LL.B courses. The eligibility criteria is given below:
80-89% = 07 Marks
70-79% = 03 Marks
