The bulletin was from the HP group company on a new version of the hp laptop, and I saw the
publication on channel television after the national news. What attracted my attention to this

An animal that you think is interesting.
 Which animal is it?
 Why do you find them interesting?
 What are some of their features?
Animals are some of the most beautiful creations of nature in the world. They differ in their
natural habitat, anatomy, and lifestyles. I have had the chance to notice a few of them in the zoos
and public parks. Out of all the animals that I know about, I find the giraffe to be the most
interesting animal. The giraffe is one of the most beautiful animals and it can be easily
differentiated from other animals due to its extraordinary height. Giraffes can reach up to eighteen
meters in height with the maximum due to the length of the neck. There are different types of
giraffes are found around the world. They are spectacular, particularly the baby giraffes. They
are beautiful to look at and the towering shape of their throat is particularly attractive. Their coat
is possibly the most striking feature with dark brown patches with sharp edges on a light golden
or brown background. Their tongues are extremely long and are also used for cleaning their ears.
I have seen many giraffes in a zoo. They are vegetarians and are not at all ferocious or dangerous
as other animals. Feeding acacia leaves to the smaller giraffes was an overwhelming experience
for me. They also run very fast and are always alert for signs of danger in their surroundings.
They usually roam around in groups and are a very intriguing sight to look at.

You should say:
 How do you know about this company?
 What do they produce or do?
 Why do you think it is successful?
And explain how you think it became successful.
A- Today, I am going to talk about my parent’s wedding photography business. My parents
have owned their own businesses since I was a child. They are quite enterprising individuals
who find working for themselves to be more fulfilling than holding down a standard job.
They own a photography studio for weddings. They both have a strong interest in photography.
In actuality, my parents actually met one other through photography. They had a mutual love of
photography and were both accomplished photographers. They went one step further and made
it into a company.
I believe they made that claim a few years before I was born, so the company has been in
operation for more than a few decades and has built up a respectable name for itself in the
neighbourhood. In light of this, a large portion of their revenue comes from word-of-mouth
rather than advertising. Couples who were thrilled with their photographs have raved to their
friends and relatives about my parents’ enterprise. My parents’ company is frequently suggested
when someone they know is getting married.
Over the years, they have grown the company and hired additional photographers. They’ve also
built a bridal boutique filled with both contemporary and traditional wedding gowns.
The fact that they have been able to create a company that is so profitable and enduring in my
opinion is very fantastic. I am aware that they have faced some challenges with it, and their
tenacity and perseverance have truly paid off. They’ve given me a lot of advice on starting my
own business and have always supported me in doing so rather than forcing me to take a
conventional job.

day-by-day for the better. With the advancement of technology it is stepping fast
from a developing to a developed country. Change has always been happening, but
technology has hastened the process of change.

I think my country is changing is many ways. Firstly, I can see the effect of
globalisation, people are wearing western clothes, eating western cuisines and
washing foreign shows more and more.
Secondly, people are also becoming modern in their thinking and views. Many
wrong traditional practices like dowry are losing ground. Finally, we are developing
in infrastructure and facilities. Many modern facilities fast internet connectivity ,
subways are accessible to people today. For me, most of the changes have been
positive. But I think this is also due to the fact that I am optimist and I like to look
at things from a positive side. Moreover, although I consider that most of the
changes have been positive, some have happened at a slower pace than I had hoped.

smoking due to stress or peer pressure, I would consider it bad.

lives?
I think changes occur throughout our life. First are the physical and hormonal
changes which occur when we go through puberty like developing facial hair,

challenges.
Describe a happy childhood event you remember.
You should say:
 what it is
 when it happened
 how you felt at the time
and explain why you remember this particular occasion.

Model Answer 1:
Childhood is the best time of one’s life and most of the adults want to get back on the
childhood days. I was given a novel as the first prize in my school in my early childhood
which was a happy event for me and I still remember it very vividly.

In my junior school, the authority held different competitions to motivate the students
into learning and attending the school. As part of the activities, they annually organised
different competitions like debates, painting, indoor sports and more other events. I took
part in a competition and got the first prize by beating five other contestants. It was the
first major success in my life and I remember it most as it was in my early childhood (I
was about seven years then and just got promoted to the third grade in the elementary
school).

The school authority holds the competition in the beginning of every year (basically the
first week). It is a fun to run in the cold in an open field to reach the goals or to sit in a
room with another participant and plan to beat him or her into the indoor games. The
situations are exciting for the participants but it is more thrilling for the audience present
before the spot. The authority usually arranges the events immediately after the New
Year so that everyone could join with the events. When the events are organised during
the middle the year, many of the parents cannot attend there because they cannot manage
time. Since a vacation mode flies in the air in the first week of the New Year, the parents
can have the chance to participate.

Since it was the first prize of my life, it was something special for me. I was highly glad
and shouted loud in my victory. My parents were happy too as I have learnt how to spell
words from my father. Actually, he was the happiest man on this award receiving from
this Spelling Contest and my success was like the greatest gift for him. It was also a
pleasant surprise for me that I have secured the first position in the competition by
beating several other competitors and some of them were senior to me in age and class
grade as well. It was really unbelievable for me that I have succeeded in the competition.

There are several reasons for me to remember the event. The first and most important fact
is that I am introvert in nature and do not like to participate in competitions or any
external activities. But with the inspiration of my father, I took part in the Spelling
Competition. It was held among the students of first and fifth grade and I was in the
middle (third grade). Besides, I did not have the idea to beat the contestants. I only played
as I was instructed. The result was excellent. Besides, this was the first award in my life
and I have never received any award or reward after that.

Model Answer 2:
When I was a child, I experienced a notable number of events but not all of them were
happy. I also cannot remember all of them clearly. But I will always remember the event
of receiving a large birthday present.

It was a remote-controlled car that I had long been desiring for. My father presented me
with the gift and it was a surprise for me indeed. I was too happy with the gift that I
played with the car for the remaining parts of the day. Even I forgot to take my regular
meals too. In fact, it was the best present ever I received in my life and also makes me
remember of my childhood.

On that day, I was taking preparations from the early part of the day to celebrate the
event. Guests started to arrive in the evening. But the number of guests were limited.
Only the family members, some intimate relatives and some of the business partners of
my dad. But the number of invited guests crossed 20 and it was difficult to manage
everything, particularly the entertainment issue of the guests. However, my dad managed
everything. The invited guests also brought gifts for me marking the fifth birthday of
mine.

To be frank, I was overjoyed with the matter. I was amazed at the gifts and the people
present there also greeted me in various ways. The decision to celebrate my birthday was
taken a couple of days ago, and I was joyed hearing the news. Since I was a small kid, I
did not know actually the meaning of celebrating a birthday but enjoyed blowing the
candles and cutting the cake. My parents had been celebrating the day from my early age
but once I crossed my teenage, I actually find no interest in such activities. The feelings
in my childhood were really great about the issue.

I can remember this particular event as I received the most impressive gift of my life. I
have celebrated many of my birthdays but that one was the best. I was greatly happy with
the people and presents. To be honest, I had never received such great gifts after that
birthday celebration. Besides, I enjoyed the company of other people and the foods were
delicious. I still can remember the day when my parents fed me the birthday cake and
everyone clapped around us. It was the most special day of my life. Not only the gifts, I
was blessed by everyone present at the event. In fact, it was the best ever birthday
celebration of my life. So, it is still vivid in my memory.

s successful human being, not to impress other people who will not be present in your life
when things turn out the wrong way because you followed their decision.

Describe an environmental problem you know about.

what it is
 how it is caused
 what negative effects it has
and explain what can be done to prevent this environmental problem.
Model Answer:
Air is perhaps the most important element of the environment, and "air pollution" is
a severe environmental problem that I know about. Air pollution has become a grave issue
for the present world, and the global air index shows that air quality in many metropolitan
cities is dangerous to live there. Air gets polluted mainly from burning fossil fuels and we
use such fuels extensively to run our cars and continue our productions in factories. Cutting
trees indiscriminately has also contributed to air pollution. Manufacturing industries
discharge a large amount of carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, organic compounds, and
chemicals into the air, thereby depleting air quality. Waste dumped in landfills generates
methane, which is harmful to air quality as well. Finally, our lifestyle choices also
contribute to polluting air. Air pollution has many severe and negative effects on our health
and the environment. First, it is responsible for several respiratory and heart conditions like
asthma, chronic bronchitis, and heart diseases. Due to the direct or indirect negative effects
of air pollution, millions of people die globally each year. Just like humans, animals also
face many devastating effects of air pollution. In a sense, air pollution is dangerous to our
well-being, and to the survival of the world.
Well, it appears to me that two main types of preventive measures could be adopted
for preventing air to get polluted in such a magnitude. Firstly, the government should take
measures from its end to control the pollution. In this case, the government can impose
strict rules and regulations to control the use of fossil fuels. Running different campaigns
is also necessary to create awareness among people. On the other hand, mass people should
contribute to recycling and reusing things to prevent waste disposal. They should also plant
trees in their backyards and rooftop to lessen the extent of air pollution.
