Hello John,
How are you? This is my fourth week at my new school and I want to tell you all about it! I really
like my new school, but it isn’t very easy being the new kid. The good thing is that the students
in my class are all very friendly. My favourite classmate is Tony. He is really outgoing and
funny, and
we both love doing the same things. Tony is a big fan of rollerblading and bowling, just like me.
We’re great friends and we hang out together after school!
The school day is tiring. It starts at 8.15 a.m. and finishes late, at 4.00 p.m. On Wednesdays
and Fridays I don’t get home until 6.00 p.m. That’s because I have basketball training after
school. I’m on the school team! I enjoy most of the subjects, like history, geography and
science, but I really can’t stand maths. Our teacher, Mr Andrews, tries to make maths fun and
easy to understand, but it’s so difficult. Also, the teachers always give us lots of homework, but
that’s OK!
Bye for now, Mike
