Dear (Mr/Mrs/Miss) Amosu Deborah Bukola,
NOTIFICATION OF ADMISSION: 2021/2022 SESSION
1. With reference to your Application for admission into the Distance Learning Programme of this University in the 2021/2022 Session, I am pleased to inform you that you have been offered admission
as an O' Level Candidate into the Faculty of The Social Sciences for the BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (ECONOMICS) . The duration of your programme is 5 YEARS.
2. This offer of admission is however, PROVISIONAL. The CONFIRMATION of the admission is subject to your acceptance and payment of N30,000 Acceptance fee.
3. Payment for the Acceptance should be made in favour of the Distance Learning Centre, University of Ibadan, Ibadan on the DLC Portal (https://dlcportal.ui.edu.ng/) by paying with your Debit
Card real time or through any Commercial Bank in Nigeria after you must have gotten a payment reference from the portal indicating the fees payable. This offer lapses after 2 weeks.
4. After the payment of the acceptance, you should proceed to the DLC Portal to pay your School Fees using your Debit Card real time or through any Commercial Bank after you must have gotten a
payment reference from the portal indicating the fees payable.
5. After the payment of your school fees, your Provisional Admission Letter will be automatically generated on the portal which you are advised to print, and keep safely, as this document will be
required during the clearance exercise after graduation.
6. Matriculation Number is generated for you automatically upon successful payment of school fee.
7. A DLC-dedicated student email address which is a combination of your matriculation number dot (.) your initial surname (e.g. [email protected]) will be created for you automatically
with your surname123 as your password. Please note that, your dedicated DLC's email account is the preferred mode of communication with you and through which you will be receiving information
from the Centre. You are advised to regularly check the website www.dlc.ui.edu.ng and your DLC email account for further information.
8. You are to visit DLC website for guidelines in respect of Matriculation, Orientation, Registration, Student Handbook, Prospectus and Computer Training Manual. Details on the Computer
Proficiency Training will be communicated to you in due course. This is because it is a basic requirement for all DLC students to be computer-literate by the end of the first session of their
programmes.
