BDC RESOLUTION NO. 2023- 0

RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE BARANGAY ANNUAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN OF

BARANGAY 1 SAN JUAN, PAOAY, ILOCOS NORTE FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2024

WHEREAS, the Barangay 1 San Juan has a total Development Fund of THREE
HUNDRED EIGHTY FOUR THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED PESOS (₱384,300.00) which
represents 20% of the expected IRA Share of the barangay for CY 2024;

WHEREAS, the said fund is intended to finance development programs, projects and
activities to be undertaken and shall be incorporated in the Development Plan of the
barangay for Calendar Year 2024;

WHEREAS, the different priority programs and activities to be undertaken are the
following with their corresponding financial allocations:

I. SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
1. Improvement of Multi-Purpose Hall ₱ 125,000.00
2. Installation of CCTV units ₱ 49,000.00
 II. ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

1. De-clogging of canals ₱ 20,000.00

2. Construction of canal lining (Espinosa St. & Esposo St.) ₱ 162,000.00

3. Procurement of cleaning materials/equipments ₱ 28,300.00

TOTAL ANNUAL DEVELOPMENT FUND ₱ 384,300.00

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Sangguniang Barangay Member Rizal Pacariem Jr.

duly seconded by the Council, be it RESOLVED, as it is HEREBY RESOLVED to adopt the
Barangay Annual Development Plan for CY 2024 embodying the foregoing priority
programs, projects and activities;

RESOLVED FINALLY, to transcribe copies of this Resolution and shall be an integral

part of the Plan and furnish the Sangguniang Barangay for its approval and furnish all
others concerned, for their information and guidance.

PROJECT STATEMENT NO. 1

I. PROJECT: Improvement of Multi-Purpose Hall

II. PROJECT LOCATION: Barangay 1 San Juan, Paoay, Ilocos Norte

III. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Installation of floor Elevation and Grills of the Barangay
Multi-Purpose Hall. Elevation for the Barangay Multi-
Purpose Hall floor to level higher and the installation of
metal frame grills to complete the full front or façade of
Barangay Multi-Purpose Hall

IV. JUSTIFICATION: The Barangay Multi-purpose Hall is situated on the

lowest part of the barangay and high risk flood prone
area the floor needs to be elevated and the full front area
or facade needs grills to add barrier to keep the barangay
belongings inside safely.

V. FUNDING REQUIREMENT: ₱ 125,000.00 from the 20% Barangay Development

Fund for CY 2024
