8400 DESCRIPTION
P-TEC TM 8400 is a high-performance repair paste for the refection of damaged
wood and natural flaws such as knots, cracks, and voids. This product is
completely compatible with all wood essences such as mahogany, cedar, oak,
ash, linden, and even more exotic woods.

P-TEC TM 8400 proves equally useful for stabilizing rotten wood and can be used
both much indoors and outdoors as it is resistant to extreme weather. It can be
used as an adhesive for the structural assembly of wood with metal, plastic,

1A : 1B PREPARATION
Before applying P-TECTM 8400, make sure that the substrate is free from any
by volume contaminant. When using a pouch kit format, knead each pouch well (the pouches of
both parts A and B). Mix 1 part of A with 1 part of B by volume (or 100 A/100 B by
weight) until a homogenous paste is obtained. We recommend testing any paint, stain,
or other products in order to verify their compatibility with P-TECTM 8400.

PRECAUTIONS
- Consult material safety data sheet prior to use.
- Normal health and safety measures should be observed when handling this
product.
- Ensure good ventilation.
- Wear gloves, safety glasses, and protective clothing.
- Do not use part A without its part B, and vice versa. Knead well parts A
and B separately before use.
- Once the container is opened, POLYMÈRES TECHNOLOGIES can no longer
be held responsible for this product.
- Shelf life of this product in original containers is six (6) months from the
date of purchase, under recommended storage conditions.
- Keep from freezing.

WARNING
Store this product at 22 °C (72 °F). Part B is very sensitive to moisture. P-TEC
8400TM is incompatible with solvent-based products.

It is recommended to follow provincial and federal safety regulations. In


case of eye contact, rinse well with water. In case of skin contact, rinse
with soap and water. Keep away from children.
