2. Imagine you are Peter. You are going to write out the jobs you have to 10
do now that you are a pet owner. Make a time chart (of the day) which
tells what jobs you will do and the time you will do them.

Juicy-O Company. YOU create a new drink. Write your own commercial for the drink.
You may select to make a radio (words), television (pictures and words), or newspaper
commercial or ad (pictures and words).
5. ANECDOTE 10
An anecdote is a short story of an interesting event in the life of a person or animal.
Those of us who have pets can tell many interesting things that one or more of our
pets have done. Think of an incident. If you have never had a pet, tell about someone else’s
pet. Your parents or grandparents may be able to tell you an interesting incident they have
had with an animal. Retell their story as they told it to you.
Use the narrative structure as if you are telling the story to listeners.

Look at a map of North America, or look in an Atlas. On this map, locate the cities of
Chicago and New York. Mark them both on the map. Also mark Atlantic Ocean and Lake
Michigan.
8. NAME FAME 10
In Chapter One we learn that Farley’s nickname is Fudge. What is your nickname?
If you do not have a nickname, think of one that you would like to have. Design
the letters of your name in a large, interesting way. Display the letters on a
sheet of white paper. Be colorful, and creative.
