As an electrical engineer, I was selected by ALSTOM to participate in the testing and commissioning of the
inaugural Delhi Metro train. I underwent intensive training provided by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation
(MELCO) for Rolling Stock-1 at the Delhi Metro Depot.
• I received training in various test methodologies employed by MELCO for investigating and conducting root
cause analysis of failures stemming from both internal and external systems.
• I actively contributed to the testing and commissioning of Rail corridor and Metro Corridor trains supplied
by the MRM consortium.
• I played a significant role in various development initiatives aimed at meeting customer needs and
improving project execution.
• As the Lead Test Engineer, I led testing and commissioning efforts, collaborating closely with the Signalling
team, Brake, and other suppliers to establish and finalize test parameters.
• I undertook major repair, replacement, change management, and resolution of warranty issues.
• I was responsible for monitoring performance, maintaining records of failures, and overseeing other
commissioning activities.
