Pasacao National High School
Sta. Rosa Del Norte, Pasacao, Camarines Sur 4417
PERFORMANCE STANDARD
The learner is able to create models of plane figures and formulate and solve accurately authentic
problems involving sides and angles of a polygon.
LEARNING COMPETENCY
Derives relationships of geometrics figures using measurements and by inductive reasoning;
supplementary angles, complementary angles, congruent angles, vertical angles, adjacent angles,
linear pairs, perpendicular lines, and parallel lines (M7GE-IIIb-1)
I. LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:
a) Identify the Angle Pairs
b) illustrate the angle pairs;
c) Apply the importance of angle pairs in creating roadways.

C. Materials: Laptop, printed material, Manila Pepper, Marker and PowerPoint
a. Presentation guided by this lesson plan.
D. Skills to Develop: critical thinking, comprehension and analyzing.
E. Values to be integrated: collaboration, Receptiveness and adaptability
F. Methodology: 3 I’s (Introduction, Interaction, Integration)
G. Time allotment: 60 mins
H. Concept:
Angle Pairs – are the two angle that share unique relationship
Adjacent Angles: Share a common arm and vertex; sum of their measures equals the total angle.
Complementary Angles: Sum to 90 degrees.
Supplementary Angles: Sum to 180 degrees.
Linear Pair: Adjacent angles whose non-common sides form a straight line; sum is 180 degrees.
Congruent Angles: Have the same measure.
Vertical Angles: Opposite angles formed by intersecting lines; always congruent.

We’re good ma’am
It is good to hear that you are fine

Instructions:
1.) The teacher will divide the class
into 5 groups. (Student listened)
2.) All groups have representative (to
take the materials), leader (to lead
the group) and a presenter (to
present their works).
3.) the teacher will discuss/ guide on
how the activity works.
4.) Each group will be given a 5 mins
to do the task and 2 mins to present
their work where presenter will
present their works.
Is that clear?
Okay, now listen. I have here an
envelope. Inside of this envelope is
your task that you will need to do/
Yes, ma’am
answer. It may be something about
questioning or a definition, where you
will identify them based on the
illustration I will provide.

Is that clear?
Okay in this activity, lets us be Student answered
guided by our following criteria.

Again, what is the difference of The complementary, it is called
complementary and supplementary? complementary angle when the
sum of two angle is 90 degrees
while the supplementary is
Very good, Ms. Eduardo. Pls clap
when the sum of two angle is

180.
Now let’s proceed to linear pair – it
means that two angles form a linear
pair, when they are adjacent and
supplementary.

Alright,
Now, back to our discussion. Is there
