From what I researched about the James Bay is that the James Bay is a large body of water that is
located on the southern part of the Hudson's Bay in Canada. It is also between northwestern Ontario and
Quebec. The economy of northwestern Ontario is known for resources and is recognized for its forestry,
mining, manufacturing industries, tourism, and transportation. Northwestern Ontario is a diverse region in
Ontario, and it thrives off diversity. Northwestern Ontario populates a few tourist attractions like National

The white river reserve is a fake reserve that is in Kenora Ontario, grassy narrows. The White
River reserve is a fictional reserve that is in the grassy narrows reserve. Grassy narrows reserve is known
to be a polluted area containing Mercery and other chemicals that pullet the area. Through my eyes it
would not be a good place to live with or without knowing that the area is polluted with toxic chemicals
that could kill you if you stay in the reserve. Many articles report about Mercery poisonings that
happened and are keeping on happening from the Grassy Narrows reserve in Kenora Ontario with makes

me feel sad for the people that live at the reserve with knowing that it might be the only place that they
can live.

The geography that is in the book seems to feel and sounds like it is sad and feels like it is the end
of the world because of the Climate crisis that is happening on the planet. While reading the book, it
seemed like the once populated places turned deserted after the climate crisis had happened. Imagining
what the end of the world will be like makes me feel sad inside because thinking of how you or myself
will die or rather how everyone will die is a scary thing to think about. The weather in the book seems to
be mostly cloudy and the air feels sad while knowing what terrible things that had happened to the
characters in the book. In some way, the book is a harsh truth of what might happen to the earth when the
climate crisis has gotten up to us. We hear on the news the many signs of global warming and climate
change are happening right now, but we do not think anything about it. Life on earth will become worser
as time goes on because of the climate crisis and we still do not care about what will happen in the future.

In the sentence from page 60 of the book, the simile was “...all the anticipation of a tomorrow
planned a thousand yesterdays ago came skittering to our feet like slick shelled beetles.” and the metaphor
was “And here we are now opening the lid of a sealed jar...”. From what I thought of what the simile
meant in this sentence was that the group was anticipating of the next day that was planned many years
ago came to become painful because the slick shelled beetle or an oil beetle releases an oil that causes
painful blisters when it touches the skin of a person. From what I got from the metaphor in the sentence
was that the group or someone came into the situation knowing that they should not be doing what they

The story of the Rogarou tells the story of a werewolf like creature that provokes women and the
only way to deal with the werewolf like creature is to hit it with a stick with all your might till it leaves
you alone. The werewolf like creature will always be around of the women for the rest of their lives even
till all their generations of women that are born in the family. Minevra told this story to the group at night
and of which the story was told to her by grandmother or her mother. The reason being of why the story
was told to her by her grandmother or mother was for her to stay off the roads at night, so men do not take
women on the roads. The werewolf like creature is a symbol of bad men that will kill women unless they
get hit to not kill the woman, but the werewolf meaning of a bad man will aways be around to taunt the
women and their many generations of women. The scariest of movies that I have seen are any of the Saw
movies. Any saw movie scares me because in most of the movies, most people in the movies get either
tortured or get some limbs cut off in their game that they are trapped to do. I always somehow put my

Why it was the right time for Wab to use smudge, was so she would have an easier time of telling
her coming to story to the group in the book. Miig was the one who gave Wab a smudge and she knew
that it was the right time for Wab to have a smudge. In Wab’s coming to story, she told her story of what
had happened to her while living with her mother at home as a child. In her story, she told the group that
she was assaulted by many different strange men when she was still a child while her mother would bring
the men into their home. Telling a story of your own trauma is a really challenging thing to do and to help
with telling Wabs own story she used smudge to heal her from her trauma that she was about to tell the

group. Smudge is a natural way to feel better such as healing the mind and is overall a relaxing way to
