    “RESOLUTION DESIGNATING ALL THE MEMBERS OF OUR


    BARANGAY NUTRITION SCHOLAR-(BNS) AND BARANGAY POPULATION
    VOLUNTEER - (BPV) INCLUDING OUR BARANGAY NURSE AND MIDWIFE
    TASK TO MONITOR, ASSIST AND ENSURE ACTIONS AND INTERVENTIONS
    FOR WOMEN & CHILDREN WHICH IS THE RIGHT TO SURVIVAL GIVING
    PRIORITY ON MATERNAL HEALTH CARE”

    WHEREAS, our Barangay Nutrition Scholar and Barangay Service Point Officer including
    our Barangay Nurse and Midwife are designated to act as focal persons in monitoring and
    assisting the health status of our residents in the barangay specifically maternal health care;

    WHEREAS, every human being especially women must be treated well and has the right to
    survival and the barangay officials especially the designed committees are mandated to
    protect an provide this right to every individual in the community;

    WHEREAS, the designated focal persons task to strictly monitor, assist and ensure actions
    and interventions for mothers which is the Survival for maternal health care that includes the
    following:
    REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES
    PROVINCE OF LA UNION
    MUNICIPALITY OF BAUANG
    BARANGAY NG SANTIAGO

    OFFICE OF THE PUNONG BARANGAY

    - That all births are attended by trained personnel;


    - That all pregnant women get at least four complete pre-natal check-ups;
    - That all mothers are fully immunized against tetanus/infections;
    - That pregnant or lactating mothers get Vitamin A and iron supplements;
    - That all pregnant women at risk get emergency obstetrical care;
    - That all pregnancies are spaced at least 3-5 years apart.

    NOW THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, be it;

    RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED to designate our Barangay Nutrition


    Scholar and Barangay Service Point Officer to implement these rights and coordinate with all
    the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children-(BCPC).
