GOVERNOR OF THE SPECIAL CAPITAL REGION OF

JAKARTA,
Considering a . that based on the provisions of Article 25 paragraph (2) of

Government Regulation Number 51 of 2023 concerning
Amendments to Government Regulation Number 36 of 2021
concerning Wages, provincial minimum wages are
determined based on economic and labor conditions;
b. that the Jakarta Special Capital Region Provincial Wage Board

through the Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Office
has submitted recommendations for the 2024 provincial
minimum wage to the Acting Governor through a letter dated
November 17, 2023 Number 02/Depeprov/XI/2023 by
considering variables of economic growth and inflation in
the Special Capital Region of Jakarta Province as well as the
level of employment and median wages in order to maintain
the purchasing power of workers/laborers and business
continuity;
c. that based on the provisions of Article 27 paragraph (1) and

Article
29 paragraph (l) of Government Regulation Number 51 of
2023 concerning Amendments to Government Regulation
Number 36 of 2021 concerning Wages, the Governor is
obliged to determine the provincial minimum wage every
year and announced no later than November 21, 2023;
d. that based on the considerations as referred to in letters a, b,

and c, it is necessary to stipulate a Governor Decree
concerning the 2024 Provincial Minimum Wage;

Government of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta as the

DECIDE:
Establish GOVERNOR'S DECREE ON PROVINCIAL MINIMUM WAGE

YEAR 2024.
ONE To determine the provincial minimum wage for 2024 in the

Special Capital Region of Jakarta at Rp5,067,381.00 (five
million sixty-seven thousand three hundred eighty-one
rupiah) per month.
BOTH The provincial minimum wage for the year 2024 as referred to in
the FIRST dictum shall come into effect as of the date of this
document.
January 1, 2024 and applies to workers who have
less than l (one) year of service.
THIRD
Employers must develop and implement a structure and
wage scale in the company by taking into account the ability
company and productivity as a wage guideline for
workers/laborers with a work period of 1 (one) year or more.
FOURTH Employers are prohibited from paying wages lower than the
provincial minimum wage as referred to in the FIRST dictum.
Employers who have provided wages higher than the provincial

FAMILY minimum wage as referred to in the FIRST dictum, are
prohibited from reducing or lowering wages.
Companies that violate the provisions as referred to in the

SIXTH THIRD dictum, FOURTH dictum, and FIFTH dictum are subject
to sanctions in accordance with the provisions of laws and
regulations.
To improve the welfare of workers, the Provincial Government

SEVENTH of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta provides policies in the
form of:
a. transportation service assistance;

b. provision of food at low prices; and
c. personal costs of education,
for workers/laborers who have a Jakarta Worker Card with

the criteria of having an identity card of the Jakarta Special
Capital Region Province with a maximum salary amount of
1.15 (one point one five) times the provincial minimum wage
and not limited by length of service, as well as other criteria
in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations.
This Governor Decree shall take effect on the date of its

promulgation.
