2. Explain the disadvantages of Cloud Computing.


Ans: The disadvantages of Cloud Computer are as follows:
a) It requires constant Internet access
b) Not very comfortable with low bandwidth connectivity.
c) Stored data can be lost
d) No security of data
e) Features may have limitations

3. Name the services of Cloud Computing.


Ans: The cloud services are divided into three stacks. They are
i) Infrastructure as a service (IaaS)
ii) Software as a service (SaaS)
iii) Platform as a service (PaaS)

4. Write about various types of Cloud Computing.


Ans: The types of cloud services include the following:
a) Public Cloud: The Public cloud allows services to be easily accessible to
the general public such as E-mail services
b) Private Cloud: It provides services within and hence has a limited access
c) Community Cloud: It allows services to be shared by a group of
organizations
d) Hybrid Cloud: It is a mix of public and the private cloud.
5. Explain the three components of Cloud computing.
Ans: There are three components of Cloud computing. They are:
a) Client Computers: These are the devices which the end user interacts
with the cloud
b) Distributed Servers: These include servers placed at different places
c) Data Centres: These are the collections of servers where application
is placed and is accessed via the Internet.
6. Name the various cloud storage applications in use.
Ans: Some of the online cloud storage applications are:
(i) Jumpshare (ii) Dropbox (iii) icloud (iv) Google drive etc.,
7. Define the following terms:
Ans: a. Cloud Computing: It refers to manipulating, configuring and accessing
the applications online.

c. Dropbox: Dropbox is the place for your photos, docs, videos and other

d. icloud: icloud is a cloud storage and cloud computing service from Apple
Inc. which securely stores your photos, videos, documents, music, apps and
many more.
