A Critique Of Dr. Jay E. Adams
A Critique of Dr. Jay E. Adams, Dr. William Backus Marie Chapian Counseling Theories

Liberty University A Critique of Dr. Jay E. Adams, Dr. William Backus Marie Chapian
Counseling Theories Concise Summary of Theory Adams (1986), has developed a four
step process in which he lines up and bases off of II Timothy 3:14 17, the four steps
include, teaching, conviction, correction, and disciplined training in righteousness.
Adams says just as evangelism always must precede edification, these four steps must
always occur in the same order (p. 13). Adams bases his counseling concept on these
four steps and II Timothy 3:14 17. Adams (1986) is not one to integrate psychology into
the Christian counseling process. Adams (1986) teaches in this book that Scripture is
the only way to counsel people and that integrating psychology into the counseling
practice goes against scripture. Backus (2000) gives a three step process to becoming
a happy person, they include realizing your misbeliefs, removing your misbeliefs, and
replacing those misbeliefs with truth. He references Proverbs 23:7a which reads For as
he thinketh in his heart, so is he (KJV). This is telling us that however we think of
ourselves in our hearts, we will believe those thoughts as truths even if they are lies.
Satan has a way of creeping into our thought lives and altering the thought pattern of
those who will let him, when a person is weak, and not strong in the Scriptures, this
The Misconceptions Of Pit Bulls And Pitbulls
The Bullied Bullies When people think of loyal dogs with a friendly demeanor, puppy
like face, and a wagging tail, they typically would imagine a Golden Retriever or a
Labrador Retriever. However, out of these people, many of them would not expect a
Pit Bull to fit into the same categories. Pit bulls are the most bred dogs in America, and
yet, one million Pit Bulls are euthanized every year, and only one in 600 Pit Bulls born
will ever find a loving home ( Pit Bulls and Euthanasia Rates ). This is a result of
misconceptions about Pit Bulls that millions of people today still believe. A widely
believed misconception about the term Pit Bullis that it is an actual dog breed. However,
this is false, and it is simply a category for different dog breeds with similar
characteristics, such as the American Staffordshire, the American Pit Bull Terrier, the Bull
Terrier, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, the American Bulldog, and any mixes between
these breeds. These breeds all came from the breeding of English Terriers and English
Bulldogs to obtain desired sizes and characteristics. Most Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes
are strong, powerful dogs with broad, brick like heads and muscular bodies ( About
Dog Breeds: Pit Bull ) and have a large variety of different fur colors. Because of their
strength and loyalty, Pit Bulls have been taken advantage of by people who use them for
fighting and money; when dog fighting rings are broken up, usually word spreads and
causes many people

and uses of the Gi Fi technologies are described in Section 6.

The future of Gi Fi is traced in section 7. Finally, conclusions are presented in Section 7.

The GiFi chip is the first transceiver in the world that is integrated on a single chip and
operates at 60GHz on the
CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) process and delivers short range
multi gigabit data transfer in an indoor environment. It is a complete wireless system on
a single integrated circuit that provides around ten times the bandwidth at one tenth the
cost of existing technologies such as Bluetooth and Wi Fi. The integration of the existing
technologies is shown in fig. 3.

II. DEFINITION
The process of Gi Fi would use a chip that transmits at an extremely high 60GHz
frequency versus the 5GHz used for the fastest forms of Wi Fi. The sheer density of the
signal would allow a chip to send as much as five gigabits per second. While the spectrum
Reflection On Female Sexuality And Empowerment
This is an article female sexuality and empowerment. It is an important topic because
women are judged on their sexuality. It is expected that women be sexy but not
sexual, meaning to look the part, but do not act on it. We live in a world where
women are held to a different standard than men. Men are expected to sleep around
with many women; it gives them almost a god like complex while women are shunned
for sleeping around. Women should not feel shamed in having sex or being sexy. Sex
is the way we keep the world populated and is a natural part of life. Yes, feminism has
been around for quite some time, men and women are still not treated as equals,
especially when it comes to sexuality. Not only was it an incredible workout, it gave
me a sense of empowerment and made me feel sexy in my own skin. I have never felt
like a very sexy person and this class made me feel that way. It is an activity that can
boost a women s confidence and make her feel more comfortable with her body.
Stripping is a profession that pays very well but is looked down upon because women
are getting paid to take their clothes off for strangers. Sure for many it is just an easy
way to make a quick buck, but after talking to someone who was in this field at one
time and she loved her job. She said it made her feel empowered because she felt she
had some power over the men she was dancing for, not to mention it kept her body in
amazing shape. I personally would not have the courage to get on a stage and
