TASK 1:
Think about your best friend. Answer the questions about him/her from page 6, unit 1. then
write a paragraph. (Unit 1-110 to 139 words.
What’s your ideal friend?
Answer: Well in some cases I prefer to be a person who doesn’t want to idealize, however if
I had to describe my ideal friend I would like a person who is honest, this is the most
important thing that I need in someone due to I wouldn’t spent my time with a person who
says lies, furthermore my ‘ideal friend’ would have to have the same interests about music,
food and another things you know, and finally someone who has the same energy as I do, I
think it’s important to have a strong friendship.
Second part:
The first thing I have to say is that I'm not a person who has many friends. I just have two
friends right now, but they are so important in my life for the simple reason that i met them
when I was in primary school and obviously I get along well with them. They have a good
energy as I do, we are introvert and I can spent my time with them.
TASK 2:
Complete one of the news stories on page 45, unit 3. remember your writing must answer the
following questions: who was involved? when did it happen? where did it happen? what
happen? (Unit 4 - 110 to 139 words)
Answer:
There was a soocer match in Astrualia of Teenagers on saturday when suddenly the day took
an unexpected turn. They were playing when inexplicable one bull decieded to join the game
whitout any reazon maybe it escaped of its farm and walked into the field, Furthermore, the
bull had attempted to hit the ball, but fortunately, the player with the ball was fast. Everbody
thought the boy had had an accident, for that reazon some parents called the police with
immediately efect to avoid more problems, then 15 minutes after the police got to the place to
try to resolve the situation, but it didn't bother the bull after one hour the bull deceided to
leave to the field as suddely as it had entered. It was a strage history.
TASK 3:
A person from Moscow is visiting Bogotá, next week. Design and write a tourist pamphlet.
Include at least 5 aspects to take into account. (Unit 5-110 to 139 words)
Answer:
Hi Nolan, I’m santigo. I’m writing this pamhlet because I’ve been imformed that you’re
visiting Bogota and I’d like to show you some customes to avoid problems with other people.
The first aspect that I’ll teach you is when you want to buy something on the street it’s a
custom to say in spanish “me regala” in english is like “I want this free”, however here you
can use it without any problem. The second aspect is when you decide to have a date with
someone you’re suppused to pay everthing in the first day, the dinner, transport, the ice cream
and everthing that she needs. Then when you go out with your friends and you want to buy
something but you don’t have enough money, it’s a custom to pool money among yourselves.
I know in Moskov it’s cold, but here the climate is quiet peculiar there are different kind of
weather throughout the day, with moments of rain and heat, that being said you’re suppused
to carry an umbrella in your backpack. Finally I’ll tell you the last apect that you will
discover while spending a weekend due to wekly there’s Ciclovia, where major roads are
closed to motorized vehicles on Sundays and public holidays so you aren’t suppused to use
your vehicule during this time.
TASK 4:
Imagine a situation when ordering a product on Mercadolibre.com. You were unhappy with it
once you receive it. Explain the problem and explain why people shouldn't buy it. Try to
include some possible solutions to it. (Unit 6 - 90 to 139 words)
Answer:
The other day, as I was searching for a new controller for my PS5, I was thrilled at the
prospect of receiving it. However upon its arrival. I discovered that it was damaged, the
joysticks had a funny noise and there were stains on the buttons. Suprisingly, the product was
in the box and had not been opened and I thought what I have to do, so after that, I decied to
call the company called “Mecardo libre”. I had to wait 30 minutes to someone anserwered the
phone, when finally picked up. I explained the issue I had encountered with my new
controller and it needed to be replaced, then they were telling me intructions to fix the
problem, how to return the controll to recive my guarantee but I had to wait one month due
to they didn’t have more controllers, I felt so frustraded with the solution that they told me, so
I decied to keep the other one for a while. After some days the buttons keep failing and is
impossible playing whatever game like this, but I’m getting used to playing some games
with the controller broken, in short you mustn’t buy somenthing there.
