Essay On English Literature
Crafting an essay on English literature can be a challenging endeavor that demands a nuanced
understanding of literary works, critical analysis skills, and the ability to articulate complex ideas
coherently. The vast and diverse landscape of English literature encompasses centuries of literary
masterpieces, each with its unique style, themes, and historical context. Navigating through the
literary canon requires a comprehensive knowledge of various genres, periods, and influential writers,
making the task of selecting relevant material a formidable challenge.
Moreover, the essay's success hinges on the writer's capability to delve into the intricate layers of
literary analysis, exploring themes, character development, narrative techniques, and the cultural
influences that shape literary works. Crafting a compelling thesis statement and effectively
supporting it with evidence from primary texts and scholarly sources adds another layer of
complexity to the writing process.
Language plays a crucial role in an English literature essay. A writer must not only demonstrate a
mastery of the English language but also employ a sophisticated vocabulary to convey nuanced
interpretations. Striking the right balance between formal and engaging language is a delicate art that
requires a deep appreciation for the subject matter.
Revision is a vital aspect of the essay-writing process. Revisiting and refining the structure,
argumentation, and language of the essay is a time-consuming but indispensable step in achieving
clarity and coherence. It is through this iterative process that the essay evolves into a polished and
well-crafted piece of academic writing.

Why I Want to Pursue a Career in the Health Sciences
My freshman year of high school I literally had no idea what I wanted to do when I
grew up. That is, until one day, when I suffered a lot of pain at football practice. I
never thought a broken hand would be so beneficial to my future. The next morning I
had to get surgery and they told me I would have to see an occupational therapist to be
able to use my hand again. I was not thrilled about this news because they told me therapy
would be very painful. The first day of therapy was horrendous, I forgot to take my pain
medication and she made me do all these weird stretches with my hand. I wasn t looking
forward to my next appointment. After awhile I started enjoying my appointments more
and more, I got to the point where I was looking forward to going to my appointments.
My occupational therapist was very helpful by telling me what all I needed to know
about occupational therapy. Because of the improvement I could visually see, the way
my therapist was always in a good mood, and the hands on work you do, is why I want
to be an occupational therapist. Many people do not know what occupational therapy is,
which is a downside of the job. According to bls.gov, occupational therapists treat
injured, ill, or disabled patients through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. They
help these patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and
working. Occupational therapists work in a variety of different environments, such as:
offices, hospitals,
Intervention Strategies To Caregive Workplace Stress
Stress Management Interventions One of the most common strategies to relieve
workplace stress is to implement an intervention. Within the literature, stress is
reduced or eliminated by using stress management interventions (SMIs) that can be
used on two types of levels: individual and organizational (Biggs et al., 2014a; Biron
Karanika Murray, 2014; Cheung et al., 2013; Dollard Gordon, 2014; Fridrich, Jenny,
Bauer, 2016; Füllemann et al., 2015; Hoek et al., 2018; Hurst, Baranik, Daniel, 2013;
Huss, 2012; Li et al., 2017; Lloyd et al., 2017; Nägel et al., 2015; Pack, 2012; Von
Humboldt et al., 2013). There are benefits to using both SMIs depending on the situation
and the amount of stressexperienced. However, it is important to understand... Show more

For example, individual SMIs that incorporates a strength based and empowerment
perspective for social work professionals as a self evaluation tool completed by
drawing a picture (Huss, 2012). This drawing is effective with social workers because
it allows them to access not only the stressful situation, but also their reactions, and
their coping skills (Huss, 2012). Another simple individual SMI is enjoying a leisure
activity. Nägel, Sonnentag, and Kühnel (2015) described how completing leisure
activities after a stressful day at work can promote a healthy well being. Exercising is
the most highly used leisure activity by many individuals. This type of activity promotes
strength and can decrease negative effects on physical health and sickness. Individual
SMIs are beneficial because it incorporates a strength based perspective, which allows
social workers to identify strengths and resources when dealing with their clients and for
themselves (Rice and Girvin,
Southpaw Analysis
Evaluation of Southpaw
One of the most popular movies of 2015 was the sports drama Southpaw. The dramatic
R rated movie pulls you in, and makes you fall in love with the characters. Between the
magic behind the camera and the actual scenes, Southpaw is a movie that is very well put
together. It would be an understatement to say that the actors chosen to play the roles in
this film are definitely a good fit. This movie will have you feeling all of the emotions
as if you were the character yourself. In my opinion, it is a must see movie.
The film is directed by Antoine Fuqua, who has directed tons of successful action filled
movies such as Training day, The Equalizer, and Olympus Has Fallen. Fuqua does an
outstanding job by using a variety of angles, lighting, and music to intensify certain
scenes throughout the movie. The boxing scenes themselves are like being ringside at a
real live boxing match. Fuqua made sure to get close up looks on both opponents which
shows blood, emotion, and dedication from the boxers. Kurt Sutter was the screenwriter
behind the film. Kurt Sutter is the creator of Sons Of Anarchy, a wildly successful
dramatic tv series. Overall, the movie would not be the same without this amazing pair.
Southpaw is the story of Billy The Great Hope (Jake Gyllenhaal) a short tempered, rough
around the edges boxing champion who grew up in Hell s Kitchen Orphanage. He
adores his beautiful wife Maureen (Rachel McAdams), who also grew up in Hell s

History Of The Internet Essay example
The year is 1957 and the USSR has just launched the first artificial earth satellite. In
response America launches the Advanced Research Projects
Agency (ARPA) within the Department of Defense (DOD) to create America s lead in
science and technology. The Internet had its humble beginnings here, within ARPA s
many projects.
The Internet has become one of the key symbols of today s pop culture: everything has a
dot com address; people do not say call me, but instead its
I ll E mail you; and the new word on the stock market is E business. The
Internet has not always been such a key figure in American life; in fact it was mostly
unheard of until recently.
The theory for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The final problem that ARPAnet came across was the fact that most computers did not
run exactly the same hardware or software as another. Their solution to this was to build
smaller computers (called Interface Message
Processors or IMPs) that were in direct contact with the main computer and also in
connection with the other IMPs on the network. All of the IMPs were built to the same
specifications so that one could easily communicate with the other5.
In 1968 all three of these developments were put into action when ARPA sent out
proposals and requests for contractors. Bolt, Beranek, and Newman,
Inc. (BBN) were awarded the contract to build the IMPs, University of California,
Los Angeles (UCLA) was awarded the Network Measurement Center contract, and the
Network Working Group (NWG) was formed to develop host protocols for the soon to be
developed ARPAnet. Nodes are set up as soon as BBN builds the IMP for that location.
The first node was at UCLA and installed on
August 30, 1969. It was the Network Measurement center and ran on the SDS
SIGMA7 operating system. The second node was setup on October 1, 1969, at
Stanford Research Institute. It was the Network Information Center (NIC) and ran on the
SDS940/Genie operating system. Node three was installed
November 1, 1969, at University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). It served as the

Sex Offenders In The Woodsman
In the movie The Woodsman , Walter was imprisoned for 12 years for child
molestation. After 12 years imprison, Walter returns back to society. He later
experiences different aspect of life. Walter learned three main insights as a sex offender:
society s view, impact of his action, and reflection of his own self.
Sergeant Lucas represents society s view on sex offenders. The public despises sex
offenders more than other criminals especially children case. Sex offender is not accepted
in society even though the offender already atones for his or her crime in jail. For
example, Mike Smith was a sex offender who served 10 year in jail for abuse in his
family. In the report, he could only associate with other sex offenders such as child sex
offender and adult rapist. They were the only people who he can relate to as not
judgmental. On the contrary, he should not be associating with. Smith made an earnest
commitment to his rigorous rehabilitative therapy in prison, but it was made harder when

Walter received a journal from his counselor, Rosen. The journal allows Walter to
freely express what is on his mind. Some thoughts Walter could write about are
reflection of his emotion and behavior in any event in his life. Therapist used
journaling for the purposes of psychological healing or growth. (Borkin, 2015) The
journal helps Walter to verbalize his problem to other people. In Walter s journal, he
wrote about his observation of Candy. He knows the technique Candy is using to lure
children. For example, Candy uses candy and toys to attract children at school. The
main goal is to ask the children for a ride. If Candy succeed asking the kid for a ride,
Candy have full control over the kid. It is part of the grooming technique. The technique
is to manipulate the person in complying with sexual abuse. Walter underline wants in the
journal to represent Candy s
