Apa Formatted Essay

Writing an essay in APA format can be a challenging task, requiring a meticulous approach to detail
and a comprehensive understanding of the American Psychological Association's formatting
guidelines. The APA style encompasses various rules concerning citations, references, headings, font
size, margins, and even the structure of the essay. Navigating through these guidelines while
maintaining coherence and clarity in the content can be a daunting endeavor.

One of the challenges is ensuring proper citation and referencing, where every source used must be
accurately cited in the text and listed in the references section. This demands a keen eye for detail to
avoid unintentional plagiarism and uphold academic integrity. Additionally, adhering to specific
formatting rules such as the use of running heads, page numbers, and proper indentation requires
constant attention and precision.

Organizing the essay according to APA guidelines involves meticulous attention to headings and
subheadings, making sure they are appropriately formatted and convey a logical flow of ideas.
Maintaining the correct font size and line spacing throughout the document adds another layer of
complexity.

Furthermore, the APA style is regularly updated, making it essential for writers to stay informed
about any revisions or changes in the guidelines. Failure to keep up with these updates may result in
inaccuracies and an outdated essay.

In conclusion, crafting an APA-formatted essay demands a high level of attention to detail, precision,
and a thorough understanding of the APA style guidelines. It's a task that requires not only writing
skills but also the ability to meticulously adhere to specific formatting rules. Despite its challenges,
mastering the APA style is a valuable skill for academic and professional writing.

Importance of Research in Nursing
In this assignment I will be writing about the importance of research in nursing
considering history of nursing and the difference between how research is performed
nowadays. I will also be defining different types of research such as quantitative and
qualitative research and giving an example of a nursing based researchstudy that was
carried out and how it is important to nursing presently.
Research is a form of systematic inquiry. It sets out to answer questions through
assessing, summarizing and drawing conclusions from what are often very large amounts
of information. (Cormack 1996 p14)

Research is extremely important in nursing as it clarifies questions that we do not know

the answer to and creates new knowledge which can be the difference between saving a
life when it s involved in the healthcare profession. For example, when I was on my
placement I observed my nurse looking after a patient that was rapidly deteriorating. The
nurse couldn t find a reason why this was happening; therefore she had to bleep the
doctor. While waiting for the doctor to respond she took on the responsibility to find out
what could be happening to this patient. She went into the nurse s office and began to
read from certain folders that were supplied by the hospital for researching information.
When the doctor eventually arrived the nurse told him about what she had read and what
she assumed it could be. The doctor then had an indication of what could be wrong with
the patient which
The Evolution Of The Presidential Debates
The presidential debates have changed throughout the years. From my perspective
debates do matter because the candidates debate to get chosen to change the United
States into a better place. Appearance shouldn t matter but what you say and how you act
should. If there were no debate there might wouldnt be a president nor voter.

The candidates debate to change the United States. This year s debaters

(Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton) are more concerned and after each other than the
US. Both candidate Hillary and Trump can be great presidents if only they would stop
trying to make the US into their own world. What the two candidates say could affect
them winning the election so they should think before the speak. Debaters should speak

Courtly Love In The Knight s Tale
Throughout The Canterbury Tales Geoffrey Chaucer satirizes the chivalric code, in
particular courtly love, in order to ridicule the knights in the noble social estates
during his time. He utilizes the literary genre of a fable, which contains a moral lesson
personified through animals, in The Nun s Priest s Tale to mock society s dignified
views of courtly love. Chaucer illustrates the ridiculousness of courtly love when he
notes, This gentle cock was master in some measure / Of seven hens, all there to do his
pleasure. / They were his sisters and his paramours (Chaucer 215). While courtly love is
supposed to be the purest and most honorable form of love, the rooster has a polygamous
relationship with all of his hens, who all turn out to... Show more content on

Courtly love was seen as a grandiose, formal process to partake in, and was therefore
pursued mostly by the virtuous knights that make up the second estate. Thus, by
satirizing a part of the chivalric code honored by a noble estate, Chaucer is trying to
undermine and humiliate the estates ideals and place in society. Additionally,
Chaucer utilizes The Knight s Tale in order to starize an aspect of courtly love known
as love at first sight. This tale involves two imprisoned knights who fall in love with a
lady after seeing her one time, and then spend the rest of their lives pining and fighting
for her. When one of the knights, Arcite, is released from his prison he proclaims,
What misery it cost [me] to depart! / [I] felt the stroke of death upon [my] heart...
Fettered in prison and without relief / I still had been in bliss and not grief... Farewell
my life, my joy, my happiness! (Chaucer 36). Even though Arcite had only caught sight
of the lady once, he would rather wish farewell to his life or be imprisoned till his death
than never see her again. While loving a lady and finding a wife were important, Arcite s
extreme reaction emphasizes the ridiculousness of love at first sight and courtly
