STITCH EXPLANATIONS
Chain 3 Picot Stitch (ch-3 pic)

Create three chain stitches from the point in your row where you want to add the
picot stitch. Insert your hook in the third chain from the hook. Yarn over and
draw the yarn through the stitch and through the loop on the hook.
Bobble Stitch (bo)

Double crochet into the stitch where you are going to make your popcorn but
leave the final loop on the hook. Repeat the previous step three more times so
that you have four not-quite-complete dc stitches worked into the same stitch.
There will be six loops on the hook. Yarn over and pull through all five loops. This
closes your bobble crochet stitch.
Sc2tog (sc 2 sts together)

Insert hook in next st and draw up a loop twice, yarn over and draw through all 3
loops on hook – 1 st decreased.

HEAD and BODY
With A, make a magic ring.

Rnd 1: work 6 sc in ring (6)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around (12)
Rnd 3: * sc in next st, 2 sc in next st; rep from * around (18)
Rnd 4: * sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * around (24)
Rnds 6 - 7: sc in each st around (30)
Insert plastic safety eyes between Rnds 7 and 8, about 5 sts apart.
Rnd 14: * sc in next 5 sts, sc2tog; rep from * around (36)

Rnd 15: sc in each st around (36)
Rnd 20: working in FLO, sc in each st around (18)
Begin stuffing piece and continue stuffing until piece is complete.
Rnds 31 - 33: sc in each st around (40v
Rnd 50: sc2tog around (6)
Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Thread tail through top of sts of last rnd. Pull tail to
close opening and knot securely.
With C embroider line on the outer side of the Eyes.

With D embroider line on the upper side of the Eyes.
With C embroider horizontal lines on the front of Body.
MUZZLE
Lower Part
With A make a magic ring.
Fasten off.
Upper Part
With A make a magic ring.
Rnd 3: * sc in next 1 sts, 2 sc in the next st; rep from * around (24)
Rnd 4: 1 sc in the next 16 sts, 1 bo in the next st, 1 sc in the next 4 sts, 1 bo in the next
st, 1 sc in the next 2 st (24)
Do not fasten off.
Join upper and lower parts

Rnd 9: 1 sl st in the next st, insert your hook into any one st of Rnd 6 of the Lower Part, 1
sc into the next 7 sts (leave the next 5 sts unworked), keep working on the Upper Part,
leave the first 9 st of Rnd 8 unworked and insert your hook into st 11 and work 1 sc, 1 sc in
to the next 9 sts (18)
Stuff the muzzle.

Fasten off and leave a long strand of yarn to sew the Muzzle to the Head between
Rnds 9 and 15.
With C embroider Teeth.
HORNS (make two)

With C, make a magic ring.
Rnd 2: 1 sc in the next 4 sts, 2 sc into the next st (6)
Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew Horns to Head between Rnds 2 and 6.
Stuff the horns before sewing.
EARS (make two)

With B, make a magic ring.
Rnd 1: ch5, 1 sc into the next 3 sts, (1 hdc, 2 dc, ch-3 pic, 2 dc, 1 hdc into the next st), 1
sc into the next 3 sts (13)
Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew Ears to Head between rnds 5 and 6.
TAIL

Rnd 2: * 1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st; rep from * twice (6)
Rnd 4: * 1 sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * twice (8)
Rnd 6: 1 hdc in next 3 sts, 2 hdc in next st, 1 sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st (10)
Rnd 7: 1 hdc in next 5 sts, 1 sc in next 5 sts (10)
Rnd 8: 1 hdc in next 4 sts, 2 hdc in next st, 1 sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st – (12)
Rnd 9: 1 hdc in next 6 sts, 1 sc in next 6 sts (12)
Rnd 10: 1 hdc in next 5 sts, 2 hdc in next st, 1 sc in next 5 sts, 2 sc in next st (14)

Fasten off and leave a long strand of yarn to sew the tail to the back of the Body
between Rnds 34 and 44.
LEGS (make two)

Rnds 6 - 7: 1 sc in each st around (36)
Fasten off and leave a long strand of yarn to sew Legs to the side of Body between
Rnds 33 and 46. Stuff the Legs while sewing.
FEET (make two)

Row 7: do not stuff the foot, flatten it instead and work through both layers, ch 2,
* 1 bo in the next st, 1 sl st in the next st; rep from * three times – (6)
Fasten off, leaving a long strand for sewing Foot to bottom part of Leg.
With C embroider Nails.
ARMS (make two)
With C, make a magic ring.

Rnd 5: 1 sc in the next 6 st, sc2tog (7)
Rnd 9: 1 sc in the next 5 st, sc2tog (6)

Stuff the arm lightly.
Row 12: flatten the crocheted piece and work through both layers, ch 2, * 1 bo in
the next st, 1 sl st in the next st; rep from * three times (6)
Fasten off and leave a long strand of yarn to sew the Arms to the side of Body
between Rnds 28 and 31.
With C embroider Nails.
WINGS (make two)
With B, make a magic ring.

Rnd 2: * sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * twice (8)
