Immunization is the most important thing you can do to protect yourself and your loved ones from the risks of seasonal influenza (flu). The flu shot is free for all Nova Scotians and will protect against different types of influenza (respiratory flu). It is recommended that all Nova Scotians get the flu shot, especially those at high risk of influenza-related complications and those who care for them. The flu shot is available at family doctors offices, Public Health clinics and other public clinics in Tatamagouche and Hants North. Private clinics are also hosted in some workplaces and the Millbrook and Indian Brook First Nations communities. When attending a clinic please bring your Health Card.
