The novel had such a great success at that
time and today too, that a lot of directors
decided to shoot films, miniseries and stage
musicals on Oliver Twist. So, you have a lot
of possibilities to see the adventures on the
screen of this poor orphan’s boy! The last
cinematographic product was in 2005, when
the filmmaker Roman Polanski gave life
to this beautiful novel, showing gestures,
colours, feelings and life of the main character.
Watching television is also a great opportunity
to practice your English. If a movie isn’t
enough or maybe too difficult to understand,
the BBC offers you to watch a well-produced
miniseries to improve the language.
