MP CIVIL JUDGE SYLLABUS AND NOTIFICATION 2024

The long-awaited recruitment for the post of MP Civil Judge is out by the Madhya
Pradesh High Court. The recruitment specifies various details as to the eligibility,
selection process, syllabus, relevant dates, and other details related to the examination.

Eligibility for the MP Judiciary, Civil Judge


To be eligible for applying to the post of MP Civil Judge (Jr. Division), a candidate must possess
following qualifications-

1. Citizen of India, and


2. Graduated from a recognized law university , and
3. 3 years practice or 70 % marks in LLB degree if from general category or 50% if from
reserved category.

Scheme of the Examination

The exam is conducted in following three stages

 Preliminary examination
1. No of papers-1
2. Total marks-150
3. Weightage given to one question- 1 mark
4. No negative marking
5. Time alloted-2 hours
6. Manner – online
7. Minimum qualifying marks-90 for general category and OBC ;82 for reserved
category

 Main examination
1. Total no of papers-4
2. Duration-3 hours for each paper
3. Marks- 100 for each paper
4. Manner- Offline
5. Minimum Qualifying marks in each paper-50% for general category and 45% for
reserved category
 Interview

3. Interview
No specified syllabus. It is a personality test of the candidate. A candidate needs to secure at
least 40% marks in the interview.
