    Spending My Last Holiday at Simping Temple

    On Sunday, when the school holidays were almost over, my friends and I visited a historic
    Simping Temple located on Jl. Simping Temple, Sumberjati Village, Blitar City. Simping
    Temple is a relic temple from the Majapahit Empire that is still preserved today. This temple
    serves as a place of honor for Raden Wijaya who died in 1309 AD. The journey from my house
    to the location of this temple is not that far, so it doesn't take long to get there. The trip took
    about 15 minutes until we finally arrived at the Simping Temple location. My friends and I
    arrived at 8 a.m. When the temple was still deserted. The Simping Temple is not too crowded,
    just a few people visit it. The people who go there are usually Hindus, Buddhists, or people who
    are researching the temple.

    After arriving at the location of the Simping Temple, my friend and I entered the Simping
    Temple area. There was a caretaker who greeted us. We were asked to fill out a visit list before
    entering the Simping Temple area. Then we looked around the temple area and started taking
    many photos of the statues, reliefs, and core of the temple. We saw the temple area, which was
    so beautiful, clean, and fresh. Even though the temple was not in perfect shape because it
    collapsed, the arrangement of the temple was very neat. We found several unique statues there,
    such as 4 large head-shaped statues and a small monkey-shaped statue. After taking photos, we
    talked with the caretaker, he told us the history of the temple from its origins when Simping
    Temple was discovered to how the temple building collapsed. After hearing the explanation, we
    were very excited to dig up information on the history of Simping Temple, it gave new
    impressions and knowledge about the legacy of the former Majapahit kingdom. Before we left
    Simping Temple, we said goodbye and thanked the caretaker.

    My last vacation at Simping Temple left a pleasant and unique impression. I had an
    unforgettable experience and also learned new information about the history of the Simping
    Temple. Even though the temple is arranged simply, the place can become a historical tourist
    spot that can be visited by tourists. Visiting Simping Temple will provide a new experience for
    visitors.
