What is ceramic membrane?


Ceramic membrane is a porous filter with fine pore size which is sintered frome alumina or zirconia, titania oxide under high
temperature. It is a ultra filtration membrane, with filter accuracy less than 100 nano-meter. Ceramic membrane always
runs at a cross flow filtration mode.
The turbid brine circulates through membrane
layer inside single or multi-channel at a high Feed Flow
velocity. Driven by trans-membrane pressure,
micro-molecule and water passes vertically
through the membrane layer to permeation
side, the suspended solid and big molecule is
rejected in retentate side, thus the raw brine is
clarified, purified and concentrated.

Dilute brine Sulfate remove system

TFT provides nano-filtration membrane using in the sodium sulfate removal system. It has a long service life, high
removal rate of sulfate(>95% after one year applied), stable performance, high endurance to Cl* etc. The rejection
rate of sulfate is 98%, which is very suitable for the sulfate removal system in diluted brine treatment of the chlor –
alkali plant.

We guarantee that:

Sulfate rejection ratio>98% (in 1month) / >95% (in 12 month)

The membrane has a MWCO of T series composite membrane is about 150-300 Da (neutral organic molecules). The
two valence anion and multivalent anions are interception preferred. The retention rate of monovalent ions depends
on the concentration and composition. Monovalent ions through the membrane, does not produce the osmotic
pressure. Therefore TNF# series membrane system can be a lower than in the reverse osmosis water pressure system
operated under pressure. In other applications, TNF # high desalination rate of filtration element can be used for dye
removal or sodium chloride concentration, filtration and recovery of metals.
