The Aklan Council, Boy Scouts of the Philippines will participate in the: EVENT: 67" Anniversary of Aklan DATE : April 25, 2023 VENUE: Kalibo, Aklan ACTIVITIES: Thanksgiving mass 6:00 AM., Kalibo Cathedral Civic & Military Parade —_- 7:00 A.M., Pastrana Park to Goding Ramos Park Flag. Raising & Wreath-Laying Ceremonies ~ 9:00 A.M., Goding Ramos Park Commemorative Program — - 10:00 A.M., ABL Sports Complex . The 67" Anniversary of Aklan aims to: a, Educate and inspire Scouts about the history of our Province b, Recognize the efforts and dedication of our Aklanon great men and women; ©. Help the Scouts earn their merit badges requirements for Citizenship in the Community and Citizenship in the Nation. Qualifications: a. Scouts and Scout Leaders must be registered and physically fit 'b, Scout must have parent’s consent c. Aspiring Eagle Scouts must participate in this event. Participants must be responsible for their food and transportation. Scout Leaders who participate in the said event are entitled to Service Credits where they apply in accordance with DepEd Order No. 53, 2003 entitled: “Updated Guidelines on the Grant of Vacation Service Credits to Teachers”. On the other hand, non-teaching personnel including the management staff shall be provided with Compensatory Time Off (CTO) as per Civil Service Commission (CSC) and Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Joint Circular No. 02, s. 2004 on Non-Teaching Monetary Renumeration for Overtime Service Rendered. Full support, cooperation and immediate dissemination of this memorandum are desired. Attached is the letter of invitation from the Office of the Provingiél Governor. JR.
