CHAPTER 2
 SUMMARY OF THE INTERNSHIP

My internship with FabHost Web Solutions, a firm I was honored to work for, ended recently. It
spanned from December 16, 2022, to January 17, 2023, and gave me the chance to work in a
variety of departments and acquire a wide range of skills. My adaptability was one of the most
useful abilities I acquired during my internship. Working across departments is typical in
smaller businesses, and that's exactly what I did. I was able to work in the IT divisions and even
had the amazing chance to work as a controller after an IT conversion. The staff at FabHost was
incredibly kind, encouraging, focused on providing excellent customer service, honest, and
caring.They contributed to the success of my internship experience.

I gave the greatest advice I could as a "Java Developer," pushing the projects to their utmost. I
was constantly focused on studying because programming is challenging. I got the chance to
collaborate closely and learn from the business analyst and senior developer. I learned how to
manage and work under pressure by helping with the projects, learning with others, and working
in a high-profile setting.

One of the most fulfilling things about my internship was the empowerment I gained from it. My
mentor trusted me with the task and counted on me to finish it quickly and efficiently.

Furthermore, my colleagues had faith in my talents to help them with various tasks that came
across my desk. I had the impression that I was treated more like a colleague than just an intern.
It was a huge benefit, and I appreciate the chance.

All in all, I had an amazing internship at FabHost Web Solutions. In addition to gaining priceless
experiences and skills, I am appreciative of the chance to work for such a fantastic organization.
I have no doubt that the abilities and information I acquired during my internship will be useful
to me in my future undertakings.

internship. This is all I learned during my internship.

My seniors helped me learn from the start, and they continued to mentor us as we completed our

provided me with insights into the professional world and helped me understand how to navigate
it effectively. One of the most interesting things that I learned from these discussions was the
importance of internships. The senior workers I spoke with all emphasized the importance of
gaining real-world experience while still in college. They shared stories of how their internships
helped them gain the skills and knowledge they
8 needed to succeed in their careers. They also
talked about the importance of networking and building relationships with professionals in their
field. In addition to internships, the senior workers also discussed the importance of projects.
They shared how they had worked on various projects throughout their careers, and how these
projects had helped them grow and develop as professionals. They also highlighted the
importance of taking on challenging projects, as these are the ones that will push you to learn and
grow the most. Finally, the senior workers discussed their learning styles and how they had
adapted their approach to learning over time. They talked about how they had learned to be more
self-directed and proactive in their learning, and how this had helped them stay up-to-date with
the latest developments in their field. They also emphasized the importance of being open to new
ideas and perspectives, and being willing to try different approaches to learning. Overall, my
internship period was a valuable experience that provided me with insights into the professional
world and helped me understand how to navigate it effectively. I am grateful for the opportunity
to have had discussions with senior workers about their internships, projects, and learning styles,
and I will apply what I learned to my own career journey.

ASSESMENT OF THE INTERNSHIP

RESPONSIBILITIES UNDERTAKEN DURING THE INTERNSHIP

 Submitting tasks assigned by supervisors from different departments. As an intern, I was

very much prepared for the tasks that I undertook by fulfilling my duty.
 Attending meetings and keeping minutes To share my knowledge and acquaintance,
meetings were arranged and it was effective in getting to know them more.
 Conducting research at the request of a supervisor. Researching the important ones for
the project and getting information in a timely manner.
 Leading a team of interns. To set a good example and demonstrate my ability in
managing a team with experience and talents. Maintaining contact with interns while
producing positive outcomes.

This internship has influenced my future plans in several ways. It has made my mind clear on
what I want in the near future. As I wanted to become a Java Developer, this setting has helped
me gain interest in it more. To have an endless career in the field of Information Technology I
should be more proficient by obtaining more skills and qualities. Through constant learning, I
believe that I can excel in this field.

CORRELATING WITH MY CLASSROOM KNOWLEDGE

My time at Loyola has helped me achieve in a variety of situations that I've encountered during
my internship. The college tasks that my professors assigned to me have helped me meet
deadlines on time and with productivity. The coding abilities I learned in class, as well as the
ability to balance all of the activities while under pressure, influenced my work at this job
significantly. During the lockdown period, online classes enabled me to hone my talents, and
focusing on modest projects also helped me to produce and think logically. The discussions we
made in the class have greatly increased my communication skills to talk fluently with higher
authorities. The staff especially enabled me to understand the fundamentals of the programming
which again helped me throughout the initiative. Moreover, the teaching in the internships is
quite similar to what I’ve undergone in the classroom. But since it is a professional setting, they
guided us and taught only the significant ones and I trained myself through self-learning.

CONCLUSION

My internship at FabHost Web Solutions was an incredible and rewarding experience. Not only
did I gain practical skills and knowledge, but I also had the opportunity to work with a fantastic
group of people. When I first started my internship, I had little to no experience with JavaScript,
a programming language commonly used in the tech industry. However, with the guidance of my
mentors and through my own research and learning now I have a little knowledge on that. This
experience taught me the value of self-motivation and time management, as I had to balance my
learning with my other responsibilities as an intern. In addition to gaining technical skills, my
internship also provided me with the opportunity to work in a professional environment and
make connections that will be valuable in my future career. The team at FabHost Web solutions
was not only knowledgeable and experienced, but also welcoming and supportive. They were
always willing to answer my questions and provide feedback on my work. Overall, my internship
at FabHost Web solutions was a resounding success. I am grateful for the opportunity to gain
practical skills, work in a fantastic environment, and make connections that will last a lifetime.
The experience has solidified my interest in the tech industry and has given me the confidence to
