Hiring Kiosk (A Common Job Application System for Target Corporation
Companies)

The Project Hiring Kiosk is a common, secure, web-based Job Application System
(JAS) for the Target Corporation Companies which includes Target Stores, Target
Distribution Centers (DCs), Mervyn’s Stores, Mervyn’s DCs, Marshall Field’s Stores,
Marshall Field’s DCs and many other Target Financial Companies. This project has
been designed, developed and implemented in ASP.Net, C#, ADO.Net, Oracle and
Crystal Reports

It consist four modules viz.., Applicant, Hiring Manager, Administrator and Reports.

The functionality of the application provides the web based job application in English
and Spanish consisting 1 to 5 sections (about 500 screens). The job applicant at any
Target Financial Company using a kiosk can apply for a job online, which includes
screens for personal information, previous employment, education history followed
by an online questioner and assessment test based on the Job Position applied for.

And the second part of the application consists of Hiring Manager, Administrator and
Reports will be used by the respective positions and responsible persons of the
organization to complete the Hiring process.

Responsibilities:
• Developed Web forms using C# as code behind language for Personal
information collection.
• Used validation controls extensively for proper data input on Web forms.
• Developed the data layer class using C# ADO.Net, which is reusable in entire
project for database transactions.
• Involved in development of base class for hiring manager entity.
• Developed user control to display the applicant details in hiring manager’s
forms, when a particular applicant is under process.
• Used XML Web service in hiring manager’s module to get the data of

SmartBill Connect

SmartBill Client is online Telecom Billing application software that turns


transaction-billing information into a valuable informational database, which
companies can use to better manage their costs. Generates revenue through offering
business customer’s monthly transaction analysis capabilities and offerings. Enables
users to generate reports in either text or graph form. The system uses Reporting
services, the reporting tool offered by the Microsoft for generating and manipulating
reports.

Responsibilities:
• Designed the Database Driven User Interface.
• Developed the Accounts Hierarchy control (Custom Tree Control) for the
Accounts and the Reports using C#, XML/XSL, CSS and HTML
Components. The users are able to add/delete and modify the properties of
the accounts.
• Used XML DOM and XSL for creating menus.
• Developed the Interface for creating Custom Reports that meet their unique
needs.
• Designed a custom toolbar replacing the Microsoft Reporting Services toolbar.
• Involved in development of the Hierarchy Sharing Interface.
• Developed Interface for the Invoice Selection. The user receives the invoices
from a service provider based upon time periods or different billing systems.

RRS - Report Review System

RRS is an intranet/internet web-based system provides a well structured


Graphical user interface to provide extensive support to The National Academies.
Reports originating from the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) or National
Research Council (NRC) or Institute of Medicine (IOM) must be reviewed by a diverse
group of experts other than its authors before it may be released outside the
institution. The National Academies’ Report Review Committee (RRC) is responsible
for administering this Report Review process.
This System has capabilities
• System must be accessible to Academy Staff, DRO staff and RRC staff.
• The responsible staff officer must complete a Report Review Request Form
(RRF)
• The RRF is passed to the Division’s Reports Office (DRO) for approval and
eventually submitted to the RRC for a review decision (i.e. “Monitored” or
“Delegated”).
• RRC also tracks which reviewers have submitted comments, when the
comments were submitted and the other information about the reviewers.

Property Tax Information System

This application developed to computerize the taxes section of municipal


department. It records the total details of properties, different tax types and
separate tax rates for various types of tax categories. It also records daily tax
collections for each property. It evaluates total tax for each property and generates
reports like Current Demand Register, which lists the current period total payable
tax. It also generates report of Arrears Demand Register, which summarizes the total
tax arrears. It also generates Demand Notices, which are used to send to property
owners regarding total tax due and payment details. It gives total tax collection
report on period basis.
This client server application developed using Visual Basic 6.0, SQL Server 7.0 and
Crystal Reports 6.0.

Responsibilities:

Health Club Management System

The main aim of this health club is to provide an insurance coverage for the amount
the individual has paid as part of the membership fee. Health Club Management
System (HCMS) provides for easier management of the health club activities by
automating most of its activities and pulling out reports of different formats as
needed. It (HCMS) consists of following modules.

activity and follows the double-entry system of bookkeeping.

This project inspects scoping and technical requirements for accessibility to buildings
and facilities by individuals with disabilities under Americans with Disabilities Act of
1990. These scoping and technical requirements are applied during design,
construction and alteration of buildings based on its usage.

1. Master module: Master module deals with inspecting all the elements and
