Army lists:
Your army must follow the guidelines for constructing an army in the Middle Earth SBG
rulebook and doubles armies in the Middle-earth SBG Matched Play Guide (p.31) and may
include up to 400 points of models per player (800 points per team) with a four (4) model
minimum. Profiles from The Armies of the Lord of the Rings, The Armies of the Hobbit, Gondor
at War, The Scouring of the Shire, Rohan at War, Quest of the Ringbearer, Fall of the
Necromancer, Defence of the North (If Released), and applicable profiles only available on the
Forge World website may be used. Tom Bombadil and Goldberry are not permitted.
Scenarios:
Prior to each round, a scenario will be randomly drawn from the six available scenarios in the
“Doubles Events” section of the Middle-earth SBG Matched Play Guide (p. 32-37). Once a
scenario has been drawn, it will be removed from the list, and may not be drawn again. Paper
copies of these scenarios will be provided at each table.
Timeline:
The tie breakers will be victory points, victory points differential, head-to-head match results,
and coin toss, in that order.
Prizes/Awards:
Prizes will be awarded to the pairs who finish in 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, and the team
voted as best army (painting, theme, anything). There will also be five random door prize draws
for all other attendees.
• Army List: Players will be required to submit their lists electronically, as a pair, to either
tournament organizer by Wednesday, January 19th, 2022 at midnight. Your armies
cannot change throughout the Event. You must be able to produce your list
(electronically or neatly printed), should your opponents want to see it.
• Painted is preferred but is not a requirement, however please contact the Event
Organizers if you want to know how we can assist in getting your collection painted
before the event.
• All models in your collection must be fully assembled. Each model must fully represent
what you have presented on your army list, including armour, weapon options, mounts,
banners etc. This includes Radagast on a Sleigh.
• Conversions are allowed, proxies must be submitted to Event Organizers prior to the
event for approval, to ensure consistency.
