I recommend cutting out pieces either one at a
Quick start available at end of instructions time or one page at a time so that you do not

INSTRUCTIONS FOR
LIGHT FIXTURE
The easiest way to light the figure is to use a few
LED touch lights, though you’ll need at least 2-3
to get sufficient illumination. Simply place them
underneath the figure.

The following instructions explain how to build Use the wire cutters to cut the tap off the end of
your own, brighter fixture. the extension cord (the end without the prongs).
(See Figure 2)
Please be careful when working with electrical
wiring. Consult with experts if you are
uncomfortable or uncertain, and never work
with wires that are connected to a power source.

What You’ll Need

You may find alternative materials that are
better suited for your project. I suggest the
following:

Base: Plastic Keyless Lamp holder Then use the wire cutters to strip approximately
Cord: Cube Tap Extension Cord (6 ft. two inches of the plastic covering off the end,

less (Do NOT use incandescent
bulbs as they get too hot)
Tools: Wire cutters, Philips screwdriver,

nose pliers (optional)

may also want to cover all exposed wire with

Screw the bulb into the holder and plug it in.

Place the figure over the bulb to light it up!

This last page is for the tail. It's slightly easier to complete the tail and attach it to the
main body as a single piece, though some builders may find this not to be the case. If
you have particularly long fingers, it may be easier to build as usual.
