When the verb ends with “e”
Give = Giving
Die = Dying
When the verb ends with “-ie”.
Tie = Tying
You have to add “y” and “ing”
Lie = Lying
When the verb is monosyllabic. C+V+C
“Consonant + Vowel + Consonant” RUN=RUNNING
You must duplicate the last CONSONTANT C+V+C
and then add “ing” SWIM=SWIMMING
TIP: Los que solo se escuchan con una sílaba.

N. 1 Old Older A los adjetivos se les tiene que agregar “er” al final.
