1. My name is Sam Wright, I am employed by the Chillicothe Police Department and I have
probable cause to believe that Samantha Rose Butner (OCN HA002953) has committed
one or more criminal offenses in Chillicothe, Livingston County, Missouri, based upon the
following facts. (Incident report# 23-1311.)
Washington Street for a report of harassment. Upon arrival, met with E.J. who was working

at the business. E.J. stated that Samantha Rose Butner had came to the business and
threatened to kill her over a man. E.J. stated at approximately 1417 hours, Butner came into
the store and pointed at her while she was behind the register and was yelling and cussing at
her. E.J. stated Butner was calling her a bitch and if she didn't stay away from her husband,
she would kill her. E.J. stated Butner told her she was not kidding and she better stay away
from her husband. E.J. stated she felt embarrassed that this happened in front of customers
and scared a bit because she knew Butner had a violent past and has assaulted others in the
past. E.J. stated she told Butner to leave. E.J. stated Butner began walking out and then came
back and repeated herself again. E.J. stated a customer told her this was bad for business
and . E.J. stated that Butner went outside and was still yelling. E.J. stated Butner went to a car
and left the area. E.J. stated she would like to press charges and completed a written
statement. E.J. showed me security camera footage of inside the store and observed a

female who knew to be Butner enter and point at E.J. lt was evident by watching the video

Butner was not there with the purpose to shop as she only yelled at E.J. and then left.
B. I
met with D.P. who was an employee of with the business and witnessed the event. D.P.
stated he was behind the counter talking to E.J. when Butner came inside. D.P. stated Butner
was screaming and threatening to kill E.J. if she does not stay away from her husband. O.P.
stated he followed Butner outside to try and speak to her and Butner told him she was going
to tell Johnson's husband what's going on. D.P. provided a written statement. B.J. came to the
police department and advised she had came to the business with Butner to buy a belt. B.J.
stated that she walked in and heard yelling but did not turn around. B.J. stated she heard
Butner yelling stay away from my man and calling someone a whore.
